The property was undergoing a major expansion in the early construction stage, but a significant effort was obvious to shield, and make safe, the front outdoor amenity area from the construction area. There were no adverse effects on the running of the hotel. On arrival at the car park, work was ongoing to maintain the gardens and outside wall plastering/painting - this was positive. The room and public areas were clean and well-run - parts had that “old school comfort” feel.

Good room. Had a seaside view room. Room was a bit dated but still lovely. Good bathroom. Pillows were too soft for my personal preference.
Staff was amazing. Had a good chuckle with a waitress who was there in the evening, and then the morning.
Food was delicious. Very tasty. Cocktails and drinks were delicious.
Spa was great, very relaxing massage.
