This is a great value for money budget hotel and was ideal for a one night stopover. The room is small, but has enough room to hang a few clothes, place a small bag and has a small desk and chair to work from. It was modern and clean with a comfy bed and TV. Unfortunately the screen cast feature wasn't working on the TV, but otherwise the USB charging points and several sockets were great.Air con was very effective on a warm night.
The bathroom was snug, but well designed and with a very good shower.
Breakfast was very good as a buffet and although the evening meals looked good, I opted for the pub at the other end of the car park with a large menu selection.
It would have been nice to have drinks making facilities in the room, but space is clearly at a premium. Instead, you can take drinks in the foyer at anytime of the day. There is a £5 charge to park overnight that wasn't made clear at booking. However, there are far more positives in this lovely little hotel and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
