Going above n beyond, mentioned we were here bc of a 80th Birthday n a chilled bottle of Champagne was n the room.

Great stay.

The room was comfortably decorated smd comfortable. Staff accommodated us with early check in with ease.

Had a very good stay. Coffee was a little weak and Continental breakfast could have been better. Service Was excellent! Wish discount at the Boathouse was automatic as we forgot to present coupon twice. Great historic location.

It felt very much like going back in time. Perfect view of the sunrise over Lake Superior and theres a lot of little shops and restaurants in the same building! A convenient stairway right down to the lake as well. Had an amazing time eating and looking out onto the lake. Right by the best bakery in duluth and downtown.

Lovely historical ambiance. Staff were friendly, attentive. Love all the old photos, Fitger’s brewing pictures and memorabilia. And the Lake Superior Views - magnificent!

We return to this facility often and have consistently enjoyed exceptional hospitality. This trip was to celebrate an early Valentine's Day.

We will definitely be going back! Excellent service and conveniently located near many dining and entertainment venues.

Took my daughter here for an overnight birthday trip. So cozy in January, fun shops all indoors, easy room service, comfortable beds. Next time, I'm bringing our dog with! Loved the valet service and easy to access downtown.

I've stayed at Fitger's Inn before and even organized a regional union meeting at Fitger's. Everyone loves Fitger's Inn--historic spot, great location, amazing shopping, access to lake walk, you name it! During our most recent stay, however, we lost a lot of sleep after midnight to noise in the hallway and then in the room next to us (I'll spare the details, but, suffice to say, I never wanted to know my neighbors THAT well). In previous stays, I never noticed that the walls were so thin at Fitger's. We stayed in a lake-side, 3rd-floor room. Maybe the city-side rooms or other floors have better sound insulation? Anyhow, the noise was probably a one-off incident and no discredit to the hotel staff, but I think we'll choose another hotel next time--there are currently a lot of great options in Duluth at better prices. Regrets.

Hello!!! I am SO excited about my stay I need to express how happy I am!!!!! OKAY, first off, this was my 1st vacay in two years. Secondly, after I stayed at Fitgers 3-years ago, on my first ever trip to Duluth, there was NO question where I would stay this time! I was SO impressed w/my little, cozy room!!!! The gentleman who came up w/me w/my suitcase, pointed out that Fitger's has recently remodeled the bathrooms. I I was speechless (and ask anyone who knows me how often THAT happens!) at the beauty of the fixtures, the towel design, The shower!!!!!!! WOW!!!! I was grateful for the shower & that it wasn't a bathtub/shower combination! Those types of bathrooms frighten me as I have a fear of tripping and falling in those set-ups. It was evident that Fitger's spared no expense! I am aware that the bathrooms must have been expensive as the choice of tile, the 'barn door' shower, the glass door (WOW 😱)........ The bed was very comfortable and the TV was wonderful! I was glad for the refrigerator as I am a diabetic and take insulin nightly. The choice of programming really blew me away! The furniture. INCREDIBLE!!!!!! Truly exquisite wood and, was yet another example of the pride that Fitger's take in their property! I'm sorry this is so long, but, I will close w/the restaurant. The food, the staff, the atmosphere! Indescribable! I can't WAIT to come back for my b'day in February, 2025! Thank you for everything! Joanna

The room I stayed in was very comfortable, and the staff extremely friendly. The location is great. My one gripe is that both the heater and fan in the room are extremely loud - at some point in the night I had to just get up and turn off the heat so it would be quiet.

Everything from check in to check out was great and the staff was amazing.

Staff qas very pleasant and helpful

Getting to our room on the fifth floor from the parking area was a painful challenge (lots of steps and walking) fo a pair of arthritic 70 year olds. Confusing time getting around. Believe it or not, this property is a couple of winding city blocks worth of strip mall shops and a five story hotel - all under a common roof! There are LOTS of stairs and two or three different elevators sprinkled throughout that will take you in Twilight Zone fashion to different unfinished attic areas - instead of the fifth floor penthouse when you press "5" in the "wrong" one. Why the 5th Floor button is not locked out to non-employees in some elevators is a good question. A laminated map posted every 100 feet like you see in most malls with a "you are here" legend would also have been welcome. We were perpetually lost and never ever quite understood how we finally (after many attempts) found our room. Even a simple paper map might have worked. My wife's a retired Registered Nurse and I'm a retired Electrical Engineer - no strangers to following procedure. LOL. In spite of this, the hotel staff here were all the most kind, respectful and energetically helpful young people that we've encountered in decades. No woke antisocial behavior here at Fitzgers and "hats off" to the very fine folks here in Duluth, Minnesota, who raised them. Would we come back again? Yes, because of the fine staff, who make this place work, but only if a first floor room was available. Thanks!

Great location and view of Lake Superior! Very friendly and accommodating staff. We took advantage of the free shuttle service several times.

We stay here every year. We love the convenience of staying in one place to shop, eat get some drinks and stay out of the cold. The staff is always super friendly and helpful.

We love Fitgers Inn, it feels like a quaint and unique place amongst standard hotel chains.

The room was clean and had a slight view of the lake even though it was labeled Cityside. The heating system was not working so temp stayed too cool and the fan ran all night. It was fairly late when I discovered this so I didn’t inform the front desk until morning. I ate at the Boat Club restaurant and the food and the view were lovely. I parked in the ramp (didn’t check the side lot) so it was a bit of a haul with luggage. Check the side lot first!

Great location and onsite shopping, food and drinks. Did not care for the lack of valet on arrival. Had to carry luggage up several steps.

I did a lot of research before picking Fitgers for our Duluth vacation. We were pleased with the choice. Great hotel with lots of shopping and dining options. Easy access to the lake walk. It was fun to be part of the history of an over 100 year old brewery property.

The facility needs a good cleaning and update of the building and infrastructure.
