The Pepin Mansion is a historic home with the quirkiness of homes in this era. However, the innkeeper (Taylor) couldn't have been more helpful and cooked us a fantastic breakfast! She is the reason we will be back!

You are making a mistake to skip by this spot and going to a hotel. Easy parking, fabulous and comfortable rooms, but the gourmet breakfast is worth it all by itself. Our second visit while passing through town. This is our go to spot. You won’t regret it!

The marilyn suite was amazing. The bed was so comfortable. The mansion was so beautiful. It had amazing antique furnishings, and it was like stepping back in time. I cant wait to visit again.

4 bedrooms in a 100 year old great house, tastefully brought back to life by the owner. The bed rooms and reading rooms were great and breakfast excellent served in a wonderful dining room. 1st class all the way! We would gladly stay here again.

**NOTE** FULL DISCLOSURE on Victor Pepin Suite. This room does not have a bathroom in the suite. The bathroom for this suite is down 2 flight of stairs and toward the back of the mansion. Prior to arrival I spoke twice with Ron. He said the listing described the bathroom as “detached & private.” Before booking I did not see the description….only the pics which looked like the bathroom was in the suite. Ron’s comment was…no worries…we provide bathrobes. I was uncomfortable with the bathroom to my suite being so far from my room. It was a disappointing experience. My purpose of this review is to give travelers accurate info so they can make an informed decision.

Our stay was amazing. The Pepin is a beautiful walk back in time with modern amenities. Taylor, the innkeeper was so warm and welcoming. The room was spotless and the bed was so comfy! If you go to New Albany, this stay is a must!

This is a beautiful property inside and out. The check-in was great, as Ron, the owner, gave me a tour of the property as well as a history of the house itself, the town of New Albany and the surrounding areas. I was made to feel welcome and Ron made sure I had everything I needed. The breakfasts provided during your stay aren’t to be missed! This is not some continental breakfast, but an event with unique and delicious offerings shared with fellow guests. The neighborhood is quaint and quite while being surprisingly close to downtown Louisville, KY. Ron was also able to recommend excellent restaurants in the area and options for entertainment. I will definitely be returning to this lovely, historic home.

We loved our stay at Pepin Mansion. The property was beautifully. I could imagine centuries of families living there. I could only imagine all the parties and gatherings that have been held there. It is a must stay for anyone that loves mansions.

Older Renovation could use a new refresh. Otherwise a nice place.. bathroom is risky going down the stairs to shower use the toilet. Shower needs caulking.

The property looked to need a lot of repairs and renovation. Our bathroom needed some TLC. Behind the sink was concrete and peeling of the wall. Same type of disrepair was by the shower. We were disappointed that there were no afternoon cookies or refreshments available to us once we arrived. The breakfast on Sunday was awesome. It was delicious, and hot and plentiful. However, the staff was not friendly in the least bit. She never identified herself. She didn't make any small talk with any of the guests.

Facilities were nice. Did not like not seeing anyone when we arrived, when departing or during our stay, key was left on mailbox when we arrived, we were texted and told to leave keys in room when we departed, this takes away from personal and welcoming experience of the Bed and Breakfast atmosphere. Also room temperature was very cool(69 degrees).
