Place was so outdated and the room smelled like a Basement with mold and mildew, the AC blew warm air that made things worse, it smelled just as bad, my wife got sick from the smell, the toilet would overflow with every flush, dont even get me started on the " cover" on the bed, was only 2 sheets together, the pillows were not worth throwing in the parking lot, speaking of parking lot they put us on the upper side where there is only 1 way in and out and you park in an angle, so when you leave you back all the way out in the road because you have zero room to turn around, we paid for Friday, Saturday with a check out on Sunday at 11am but we left at 6am Saturday morning to come back home due to the wife getting sick, we will never stay here again and do not recommend it to anyone.

Honestly, the odd numbered rooms had optimum parking. But the even numbered parking is HORRIBLE. No place to turn around, no way to drive through, and trash all over the side. The room itself wasnt terrible, but I did see mold in the jets of the jetted tub, and wasnt going to risk it. The lady who checked us in was super nice though! Being right next to Log Cabin Pancake House was a definite perk.

It is an old place but for the price I paid I have zero complaints other than the tv had 4 channels. I would stay here again.

This is best place we have EVER stayed at on any of our vacations!! This is our go to from now on when we visit Gatlinburg!! Amazing rooms, clean, friendly staff and prices are wonderful!! You cannot beat this location!! I highly recommend to ANYONE!!

It was nice to be close to walk to places. Was quiet and comfortable.

When arrived there was a terrible scent in the room. There was mildew on the bathroom door and when the hubby turned on jets in tub dirt and hair came out of them . Reported to front desk and they had someone reclean . So of course once this is read it will be "sent to the cleaning " manager to discuss yadada " Of course the property manager will apologize. At the end of the day I paid for what I thought was a clean room ,it was not .

More like a $40 per night room. Room 124 During check-in we were told our room would be ready at 2. We checked in so we could park and walk. We came back at 2:30 and we were told there was an Early check-in fee, fee was not mentioned before, so we left. Got a call shortly after stating that we could come check in and not receive a fee. Bed was not a queen as advertised, it was a full. 3 small pillows, half the size of normal pillows. Bathroom was rundown, lights didn’t work, shower wouldn’t drain, covered in mold, and counter top was broken. Ice machine was out of order. Bring a blanket because there is none on the bed. AC and heat blows into the curtain, not into the room. Carpet was FILTHY. We wouldn’t dare walk on it without shoes on. Cleaning lady did not have a vacuum, just a broom so carpet was covered in dirt. Building itself is run down and has damage that needs to be repaired. Cleaning lady was very nice. Man at counter was nice but he did not greet you, was listening to a pod cast and made you feel like you were u interrupting his time. We would have left and stayed somewhere else but it was all sold out. Wish we could get a refund.

Room was nice for the price. It was dated but very conveniently located.

The clerk was rude and completely unhelpful. The TV stopped working whenever it rained. I could hear people partying outside my door

Everything was falling apart in the room, The mini Refrigerator was full of water when we opened It, The smoke detector kept Chippering, Bathroom sink was missing the drain flange, The exhaust in the bathroom was falling out, The Pool was filled in with Gravel. It was so bad that we didn't even stay there the room was 109 I can only guess how bad the other rooms looked like

This was a great location and my room was nice, there was a little snafu at check-in with the floor but being vacuumed but the desk clerk fixed it right away and vacuumed it himself.

Room (102) was clean but is in terrible need of updating and carpet cleaning. Sink kept stopping up, tpilet did not drain properly after flushing, tub needs to be maintained. No comforter on the bed, in winter (bring your own). Front desk attendant was nice. Parking lot a disaster on one side, you cannot turn around and will have to back out into the main road (we have a 2500). Location is good, within walking distance to almost everything.

Clean, mostly quiet place. Decor is a bit dated. Location is great. We were able to walk around town with ease.

Rooms are very small . Nothing like the pictures in their website . Very old and rundown , bed terribly uncomfortable . Left after one night , lost money on the other three nights booked and found another place to stay . Would not recommend this place at all !

The icing on the cake is that the door code kept getting erased so we would get locked out of our room. After the ball drop we got back to the hotel and every single guest had gotten locked out of their room. Overall it was exactly what we needed at the time. We weren’t staying in the room the whole time so it didn’t have to be 5-star. It definitely needs some tlc but for an older motel, it wasn’t terrible.

Good location. The property is old . The microwave was dirty . Had to ask for toilet paper . The light just outside the bathroom didn’t work so dark in room. Very limited counter space . There was a roach bug in the bathroom.

Cant say I liked much about it it coulda been cleaned better. We got locked out in the cold for over hour couldn't reach staff cause office closes. Wasn't just is but few ppl were stuck standing sitting trying stay warm. Finally some kid called someone n we finally got in. Wont be staying here ill pay the extra.

Security breach at hotel. Locked out of our room for over an hour. No front desk assistance. Every room in hotel was locked out. Had to call number left on office door. Major disaster. Felt very unsafe rest of stay.

Good cheap hotel

This was a great motel last year. It appears they have done nothing to keep up the place. The electrical was shot in room 103 the GFI plug would not stay set and the plug by the bed was so loose I had to hold my wife's hairdryer plug in place while she used it. The light in the bathroom/shower area had to be switched on and off several times to get it to come on. The front door weather strip was so worn you could see daylight under and around the door. This would not have been so bad if the heat halfway worked. The towels and wash cloths looked dirty so we went to Wal-Mart and bought some. The TV does not get any locals stations if you like football some of it comes on CBS. I ended up watching the SEC championship game on my phone. Do yourself a favor and move along this one is a bad stay. Not so bad at the weekday price of $66 per night but then they jack it up to $188 for the weekend. Those are the cons the pros are the mini fridge worked great and it did have a bed...

This was the worst place I have ever been to. The pictures are not what you get! We walked into our and walked right back out and went to another place. For Gatlinburg to let them stay open is beyond me.

Rooms need serious attention and updates.

I wouldn't recommend. Pictures don't really do it justice once you are there in person. Our room didn't looke anything like the rooms in the their pictures. Conditions were poor. It was obvious there wasn't any money being spent on renovations. The place and rooms were very dated. The bathroom still looked like 1974. Light above mirror did not work in bathroom. Mold on ceiling above shower. We had one very very small trashcan for the entire place. The heat/ac unit was probably 3 inches from the bed. Very expensive price for what we received in return. Juice machine in lobby was "out of order" for breakfast. I didn't like they charged me an early check in fee when arriving 2 hours early when no one was there.

Price was way overrated for the motel. Commode seat was broken and it pinched you when you sat down. The bathroom lights were not working properly and the switchplate was broken. The bed was comfortable.

Staff was very helpful, it needs updating so bad !

Outrageously priced. My room had water damage in the bathroom, chipped sink, broken toilet seat, cracked electrical plates. "Continental breakfast" was in bulk cereal, and almost got gay shamed by the receptionist. Never again.

Clean and close to everything. And easy for handicap and all rooms 1st floor.

The motel is extremely dirty and old. The bed was like sleeping on bricks, the bathroom has mold all over the shower walls and the drain was broken. Dirty used towels left under the sink. Mirrors on closet was broken and rusted bad. By far the worst place I have ever stayed at. Never would recommend it and ashamed that Expedia has it list. Have pictures upon request.
