Perfect for our purposes. The toilet and tub up on risers was a little challenging for my husband post-knee surgery. Location was extremely convenient, the price was good, and we were able to come and go easily.

This is a sweet little place, my only reason for giving it less than five star for comfort is that we didn't know how to turn on the heat in our room or turn it up, and there was no instructions that there was an electronic fireplace actually in our room under the TV We stayed in the Aurora room, really cute and well appointed otherwise. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place in a great location. Especially enjoyed the very comfortable bed, over sized towels, and the very thoughtful snacks and food that were provided. So many “Alaska touches” with the furnishings. What a treat to get up in the morning and enjoy a choice of wonderful coffees, especially on an eight below zero morning!

Communications with staff were great, the self serving breakfast options were great, instructions were simple and easy to follow, but the cleanliness overall was less than optimal (bathroom had hair all over the floors and in the shower on the floor and walls, bath towels/washcloths were dingy and I felt dirtier using them). Ended up cancelling a later planned stay here just because of the cleanliness.

Everything about this property, and our stay was amazing, with the one exception that the entrance was not plowed. Had we brought our rear wheel vehicle we would not have made it into the property to be able to stay, luckily, we had our four-wheel-drive vehicle, but even then it was a challenge. Very unsafe unplowed entrance from the street.

Just as pictured-Aurora Room. There is a step up to the toilet and tub. A slightly wider step for the stool would make it feel safer. Breakfast was more than ample, vey good. We stayed Dec 26-31 and a boot tray or mat would have been good given that we entered through the bathroom.

This place is a gem! From the comfortable and clean rooms, great location and cozy lodge atmosphere, everything was amazing. I forgot to add a fabulous breakfast with kitchen amenities that can’t be beat. Look no further for a great stay in Anchorage!

The place itself was good aside that they don’t have a staff, office, and the location is a bit outside of town. They were clean and seemed respectful about privacy. I think they hide cameras in the smoke detectors in the rooms though.

Don't recommend the downstairs rooms as we were woken up at 6am by someone in loud boots walking back and forth in the kitchen for two hours until it was time for us to get to the airport. It's a very decent place to stay but there's a reason only the downstairs kitchen is for guests to use. I wish there was a sign upstairs about it. Beds are a little squeaky but comfortable. I will definitely be back but wow I am frustrated we couldn't sleep due to another guest. Please make more obvious signage so people can sleep!

Got in late and was very comfortable, the bed was great. Slept well. It was a bit hot in the room and did not know where the A/C was so hit the ceiling fan. They provide food in the kitchen for breakfast which was great, self serve. The only issue was that they did not fill the shower liquids and there was nobody around so that was not great, but otherwise it was a good experience

This is a very cute place to stay. The room was comfortable with plenty of outlets. The closet was adequate. Even though it was located next to a street, it was very quiet inside. There was a nice living room to sit in. Breakfast was an extensive fix what you want. There were hard boiled eggs in the fridge along with yogurt, both cow and plant based milks. Real butter is a plus. :-) There were also eggs you could fry. There was oatmeal and cold cereal. Granola bars and breakfast bars were also available. There is both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker. I appreciated the sandwich condiments in the upstairs kitchen. A bonus is the downstairs kitchen one can use.It has a big refrigerator and stove. It is well stocked with all kinds of pans. A microwave is there. The only drawback I found was the hand soap in our bathroom and the downstairs kitchen. There were bubbles in the container but it felt more like water. It did make bubbles on my hands. I find Softsoap refill thick so I always dilute mine but I feel that this was diluted too much. I used the shower gel instead to wash my hands. A funny note, the bed in our room make a squeaking sound that sounded like a duck!

The BnB is located strategically to Ted Steven’s Int’l airport, and other venues such as Fred Meyers, Target, and Cabelas. Everything within reach. Furthermore, the place is clean and cozy. Lovely place.

This property seemed more like a hostel than a bed and breakfast. It was quite loud in the early morning due to thin walls and the beds were very creaky. The shampoo and conditioner in the shower were empty. Overall, it was fine for a night and did have a cozy upstairs area.

Close to the airport and convenient for a one night stay until we left for our cruise. We stayed in the aurora room and it was cool to see the northern lights theme. We’re from Florida so we were freezing in the 40 degree weather lol and the room was plenty warm and even had an electric fireplace in it.

Loved the place over all. Near airport & very quiet. My husband & I need a king size bed & those are hard to come by in smaller inns in Alaska . We are trying to support local businesses. I booked a room with a double & twin in the basement. The mattresses were so uncomfortable. They both squeaked & the head board wasn't even attached to the twin. Made for a very long night. Good selection of " make your own breakfast."

This is a nice B&B. There were good breakfast options, please note that if you want a hot breakfast you have to make it yourself. Rooms were spacious. A couple of important things to know. 1 - There is no inside lock/dead bolt to your room door. If anyone has the door code (which is shared with others, if they stayed in the room before or planning to stay that week) they can easily just enter your room. I was not comfortable with this. 2 - The duvets do not have a cover, so not sure how often they are being washed.
