About this cabin rental

Located in West Custer Township, this charming cabin for $165 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Enjoy a relaxing stay in a very unique cabin setting. Cabin size is 640 sq. feet. Massive rock outcroppings surround the back deck portion of the cabin. The cabin location is on the west side of Custer and is within walking distance to downtown, about 4 blocks. Custer is also close to Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Monument and Mt. Rushmore. Those people who love to explore the Black Hills on ATVs and UTVs, the cabin is on the west end of Custer so access to trails is convenient. Parking is available for truck and trailer. You will need to contact me directly if you are bringing this combination because I will need to direct you to a different access for our property. Rocky Knolls Golf Course, for those golf lovers, can be viewed from the front porch., and a very short distance to get onto the course. There is also Grizzly Mini Golf within walking distance. Kitchen has beautiful granite countertops with an island and fully equipped for any type of entertaining. Other appliances for your use are convection oven, waffle maker, air fryer, and griddle. Blackout curtains in the bedroom help with a great night's sleep. Queen Sofa sleeper is in the living room. Ideal cabin for 4 people. We can accommodate with Twin airbeds if that is preferred. Cell phone reception is good and the cabin has WiFi access. If you are considering bringing your " dog buddies", please inquire before booking. There is a pet fee as well as size limit. We ask that you don’t leave the dogs for a long period of time and on a leash when outside because of wildlife in the area. We have a security camera on the fence that detects front porch activity. There is also a camera on the bigger cabin's front porch, where we live, to let us know if people are at the door. This is for your information.

Darwin and Susie are the greatest hosts. The cabin was great. Anything you would need is provided. Great location for seeing Custer and the Black Hills area. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this area.

We had such a nice stay! The property is in such a great location and close to many attractions. This was probably the cleanest rental and most hospitable one we have stayed in. The owners were so thoughtful and had extra things like water if you don’t like the sink water, dog bags, and a backpack for hiking. The owners were friendly and great at communicating. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend others stay as well.

Susan saw to our ever need! The home was so clean and contained every item needed to have an excellent adventure. Love the binder with the home and area maps and directions for our stay. Enjoyed the Rock “ on the gorgeous deck. Spend our evenings grilling and drinking wine.. our host Darwin & Susan are outstanding people. We were only 10 minutes from the downtown of Custer, restaurants and shopping and Mickelson trail. Perfect getaway for a couple wanting to find peace and tranquility Ideal place❤️

We stayed i for three nights in this wonderful cabin. It was soooooo clean and offered a safe, quiet and comfortable experience. We were located close to Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore and had traveled over from Badlands National Park. There was coffee and all sorts of amenities to make our stay special. Even a bowl of chocolate treats in the fridge. Suzy was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again and recommend to other traveling family and friends.

Paradise Land Cabin was wonderful! Susie has thought of everything! The cabin was so clean and had every amenity you could want. It even came with some wildlife right outside the door. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved this cabin! It was super clean, comfortable, and had absolutely everything you could possibly need ! It was close to downtown Custer, and we really enjoyed the back deck with grill and fire pit. Susie and Darwin were very sweet and fun to talk to! Great place and we will return !

I spent 4 nights at this cabin with my grandsons, ages 7-11 and we all loved every minute of it! Our hosts were so friendly and accommodating! My grandsons even enjoyed visiting with them! We were able to sleep four comfortably with the bed and the sofa sleeper. We were here during the Sturgis Rally but inside the cabin it was especially quiet … well, minus the noise from little boys! Susie and Darwin have thought of everything for their guests! The kitchen is better equipped than my one at home! It is exceptionally clean and cozy! The location is not far from downtown Custer. And we enjoyed many of the local restaurants including The Pizza Mill and Baker’s Bakery! I will definitely revisit the cabin the next time I am in the Black Hills. I have made many lifetime memories with my grandsons, and I suspect that when they are older, this will be a place they will revisit and talk about again!

This cabin is super clean. We have stayed in vacation rentals for 15+ years and this rental tops all of them for cleanliness and amenities. Very quiet yet close enough to walk downtown. The owners live on the property and are readily available if you need anything. Technology is updated and everything worked well. Plenty of outlets to plug in all your gadgets. Our dog loved having his own blanket so that he could sit on the couch and look out the window. Nothing negative to report, definitely worth renting.

This little cabin is perfection! Sparkling clean, every amenity included, and so comfortable! The hosts live next door and are so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for all the attractions of the Black Hills. Do not let this one get away, i would definitely stay here again!

This property was wonderful. It was by far the nicest place we have stayed. It had every possible appliance and everything was so clean and beautiful. It had a lovely little deck in the back that was very private. It was a great location - close enough that we were able to do Wind Cave National Park, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park, Bear Country and many others. This was a charming cabin and I really appreciated the owners availability and helpfulness when needed. I would highly recommend this cabin for your next stay.

This place was the perfect size for my husband and I and our two dogs. It's right in the middle of all of the wonderful local attractions - Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park, Badlands National Park, Keystone, Deadwood and so much more. The location was very clean and had wonderful amenities, including the most plush towels I've ever used. I would stay here again over and over and will recommend it to friends and family.

This cabin was one of the best places we have ever stayed. Close to Mt Rushmore , Crazy Horse, museums, caves and Custer State Park. Great hiking nearby. We had everything we needed. Everything in this cabin is high quality. Clean, lots of fresh towels and our host let us come early because it was ready. We stayed four nights and we were not ready to leave. We could not have been happier with the accommodations provided by Susan. The cabin is a wonderfully relaxing place to come back to after a long day of sight seeing. Situated on the West side of Custer we were just minutes from restaurants and Mt. Rushmore. Susan left a comprehensive collection of maps, brochures and local places to see that we really appreciated. We hope to visit again.
