About this house rental
Welcome to this incredibly unique luxury family home. Central urban location close to everything yet opens up into the majestic Natural Park in the back, which makes you feel far away from the city! Upon entering you will be in awe with the breathtaking views that flows throughout the entire main floor. This gorgeous family home is steps away from public transport, shopping, parks, all other amenities and has easy access to the major attractions.
**Dear guests please note, we have a long-term tenant in the basement with a separate entrance. Please limit noise like loud conversation, TV, music after 11pm. Kindly asking to be more respectful to the neighbours.
Our house comes with a large dining area that is a great place to gather with family and allows easy access to the balcony that overlooks the nature park.
The great living area boasts a stunning view and is open to the fully equipped and stocked chef's kitchen, which offers an oversize island. There is also a main floor office/den that can be easily used as a working space.
The staircase leads you to the upper level where you will find 3 bedrooms including the master (with vaulted ceiling) that offers a spa-like ensuite that is complemented by a relaxing corner jacuzzi tub, heated tiled floors, separate shower.
***Please note that this is a pet-free property.
If you join us by automobile feel free to park a car by the side of the garage. Once you enter the driveway you will see a parking slot for 1 car. It is a small slot so you can offload your bags on the driveway and then back off and park there.
We also have free street ample parking on both sides of the road.
You can get to our house by public transit, as there is a bus that runs along Westview Drive, with bus stop is at the doorsteps, and can take you to Lonsdale Quay (where you can transfer to the SeaBus and go downtown) or to Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain, both of which are about 10 minutes by bus and 5 mins by car.
If you join us by bus, you should also know there is lots of options for groceries, restaurants and retail stores along Lonsdale avenue, which is no further than a 15 minute walk. There are also loads of buses on Lonsdale that can take you all over the North Shore and beyond.
North Vancouver is famous for hiking and skiing trails in the North Shore Mountains. Our house is close to all three of our local mountains, Grouse Mountain, Seymour Mountain and Cypress Mountain. Enjoy skiing, tubing, snowshoeing, and skating during the winter and world-class mountain biking or hiking during the warmer months.
In the summer months enjoy live music and festivals down at The Lonsdale Shipyards.

Very lovely house with a beautiful view of the forest. Beds & linens were very comfortable. House is spacious and modernly appointed. It is on a very busy street which makes pulling out of the driveway a challenge at times. The drive to downtown Vancouver is relatively easy, depending on the time of day, making city trips for sightseeing, dining, etc., easy. Kitchen was very well stocked and there was plenty of seating at the kitchen island, dining table and living room. There are strict noise restrictions so this might not be best for families with small children, but if you are looking for a quiet retreat, this is it.

(1) While the property is lovely once you are inside, nowhere on the listing does it address the very busy street that the property is on and the steep driveway leading to the property. (2) The property manager/owner that we communicated with completely ignored an issue we brought up 3 times while we were there. None of the 4 lights in the vent hood over the cook top worked therefore cooking was a bit difficult in the dim light. We first emailed the property manager about this when we arrived and her response was that she knew nothing about the lights. We waited a day or two, thinking she had reached out to the owner, but when we still heard nothing we emailed the owner directly about the non-working lights along with a question about 2 items missing from the kitchen. The owner addressed the missing items but did not even acknowledge the non-working lights. We waited another day and emailed the owner again and we were totally ignored with respect to the query about the non-working lights. We understand that things break in a house and unless the owner is told about it, repairs can't be addressed. But when our emails about the non-working lights was NOT EVEN RESPONDED TO, we consider that totally unacceptable and WOULD GIVE THE PROPERTY ONLY 1 STAR BASED ON THAT ISSUE. (3) A few suggestions related to improving function and safety in the master bath: Add some grab bars and a shelf for the hair and body products so they don't have to sit on the floor.
