The open floor plan starts with a great room, surrounded by windows with the sunlight streaming in, allowing the entire family to hang together - the BHI family experience at its best. This XL living room boasts new comfortable furniture, and the dining area seats ten. Both perfect for special meals and entertainment. All this leads to the private back screened-in porch – a special space for total relaxation, dining al fresco, cocktails, enjoying the forest breeze, and watching the golfers on the course. Three extra-large bedrooms will accommodate your family with ease. The en-suite bedroom on the first floor has a private screened-in porch. If you just have to work while you are here (hopefully not), there is comfortable and quiet desk space in the room. Upstairs, two bright bedrooms await. The first is the master bedroom with a private full bathroom and an open deck overlooking the 4th hole of the golf course. The other bedroom on the floor features a double bed with a twin overhead, and a separate twin bed. The home’s third full bathroom is attached and easily accommodates the kids or a second family of four. Our full-time on island professional property managers are available to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a phenomenal property! Excellent location and really nice, updated house. Tyler, the property manager is awesome and checks in as well. We plan on definitely staying here again!

Overall, very happy with our experience. Great location, great property manager. Some light fixtures need replacement/major refurbishing. Garage door needs to be replaced. Automatic garage door opener would be a nice upgrade too (especially for older guests).

Nice clean home inside with a spacious living and dining area. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances, cookware and utensils. Property manager very responsive to needs and questions. We would love to rent this home again.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our first time to Bald Head Island and our stay in this beautiful home! The layout was perfect with 1 bedroom downstairs and 2 upstairs. We loved having dinner outside on the screened in porch. The kids loved the outdoor shower (and I did too - it really limited the amount of sand that came inside). Communication with the owner, Steve, was super easy and he was very responsive. We hope to be back next summer!!

This is a great house in the Maritime forest. It's maybe a 5 min cart drive from south beach and a 10 min card ride from east beach. The house has an amazing screen porch, with a nice shady view and glimpses of the golf course. It has several adult and kids bikes and helmets, beach chairs, and boogie boards. The yard also had a cool swing that my children loved. The property manager was great and very helpful and communicative. This is our 2nd year staying in the Maritime forest (instead of on the beach) and while normally I love the beach, the coolness of the forest is amazing after a long sunny day.

This house was great for a small group! We had (4) adults and 2 small kids. The room set up was perfect with the master and kids room on the same floor. The house was clean with nice furniture and a plus was all the toys the house came with. Its in a central location to the beach and market. Steve who manages the property was very responsive and accommodating. I called ahead and asked if they could set up the pack N play and he made sure that happened! We had an issue with one of the golf carts and had to rent one for a few days but Steve made sure we were reimbursed for that inconvenience. My only complaint about the house was that the kitchen has everything you need to the point that there was no pantry storage for our food so we had to just keep it all out on the counter. Otherwise I highly recommend the house!

The house was the perfect size for two families with young kids happy to share a room. Spacious living areas and screened porch. House was well equipped with everything we needed for a wonderful vacation form a well stocked kitchen to beach stuff and games for kids. One of the golf carts was a little old and struggled to maintain a decent speed, but the host was very kind in his communication. The adult beds were a little soft for our liking, but understand this is a personal preference. The bunk bed was a little wobbly but the host attended to it as requested. All in all, a magical experience.

Everything with property manager is top notch and the house is very good with a great location on the golf course. Nice back porch shaded by mature trees but you can still see out just enough to see the golf course but maintain privacy.

We enjoyed a great week-long stay here. My parents enjoyed having their own bedroom and bathroom downstairs, while the upstairs was a good sized space for my wife and I, and our kids. The house is one of the most well stocked (board games, puzzles, TVs, kitchen stuff, beach stuff, etc.) rental properties we have ever stayed at. We'll be back!
