The Dominick

The Dominick is easily one of the cleanest and most luxurious hotels I have ever stayed at. It offers everything you could want for either a vacation or a business trip. The pool staff provided exceptional service and made the experience truly enjoyable. The front desk team was also top-notch—professional, friendly, and attentive throughout my stay. The only negative experience was with one female customer service staff member whose name I unfortunately do not remember. Her tone of voice came across as if she didn't want to be at work, and she spoke to guests in a way that felt dismissive and unpleasant. Aside from that one employee, my stay was outstanding. The Dominick deserves ***** (5 Stars Plus) for its luxury, cleanliness, amenities, and overall guest experience. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New York City.

This was built as a 5 star establishment, and the door weights and materials will remind you of 1990s property that afforded a non-fake luxury. This is not the ubiquitous “luxury” pizazz term seen all over the place. It still remembers what Gen X knew as luxury aka quality not a scene.

It’s a great hotel, my only problem was that one out of the four elevators was down during my 4 day stay, making the wait for the elevator interminable. At one point we had to wait 25 min for the elevator. The manager was not reachable, however Rachel at the front desk compensated us for the inconvenience by refunding us one night of our bill, it was a nice gesture, but the elevators waits truly affected the quality of the experience received at the Dominick’s.

Great hotel with nice big rooms. Our only complaint was the elevators - they seemed to take a very long time and they stopped on every floor even though they were packed full.
