Beautiful apartment, clean and comfortable, however I could not sleep since the wind was so loud and the house seemed to be blown away, other than that, everything was perfect!

This place is beautiful and is very well taken care of. We loved that it was beautifully decorated and it had everything we needed in it. The host at reception was very friendly and offered his help and recommendations. The one thing that I would mention is the steep and scary drive into the property. It is quite steep in the area where you have to key in the code to get into the property. Obviously something no one can control, but that I think should be mentioned so that others can take into consideration.

I was pleasantly surprised at the beautiful interior. Everything was spotless, well decorated, and had all the amenities. The loft was so cute. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The staff was very helpful with information about the town and roads. Check in and check out were easy. I would stay here again

Our family of 4 (11,13,44,45) stayed in a family villa at Green Forest Vacation homes in April of 2023. We loved our stay in the villa. I am not sure how I missed the "indoor pool" when booking, but that was a nice little surprise. The villa had a nice little kitchen with a full sized refrigerator. There was a nice living room area with plenty of room to sit and lounge around. We used the table and four chairs to play card games as a family. We used "WAZE" to get to the property from La Fortuna. It took us up a really rough road that can be avoided and we made sure to avoid it during future trips. Once we arrived, check in was a little confusing but we called the number and they let us know to check in just up the road at another hotel. Once we got to the check in desk, we were helped out and given great recommendations in the area. We had our tours booked ahead of time, but the office books all kinds of tours and adventures. Downtown Monteverde has very little parking. The young man who checked us in gave us a great suggestion on where to park so that we didn't have to walk too much each day. While we were there, the wind was really strong so if you are a light sleeper, you may want to have earplugs. A night mask may also help since the bedroom has a large glass section that doesn't get covered. I would recommend Green Forest Vacation Homes to a family that is looking to have an entire house to themselves while exploring Monteverde.

We stayed 2 nights while we visited the Monteverde Cloud Forest. The property is beautiful and very convenient to many activities.

The property is excellent. We found the TV in the bedroom not the best choice for us, we would have preferred if it were in the living area. Also what was probably the view from the front has been obstructed by a swimming pool area currently under construction. The deck outside the patio doors is very narrow with the view being the side of next property and roof. I'm sure it would have been better before the swimming pool construction The road to access the property is very steep,rough and narrow which wouldn't be too bad if it were a oneway. At certain times its busy with tour vehicles and there's not enough room to pass.

Beautiful property. Felt like I could live there forever. Steep hills everywhere and high winds were loud at night, but that’s attributable to the Monteverde area In general. Absolutely loved this home. If I return to the area, I would definitely stay here again!

Great location. Close to everything. 4x4 is recommended to climb steep dirt road to property entrance.

Great Property. Excellent value. If you want hotel ammenities, this is not your place. this is a house. Be prepared for an adventurous drive up a very steep and rocky hill to get to the house. Definitely need an SUV. Best to have an SUV in Monteverde anyhow. The place could use a space heater. No HVAC in place. It gets cool at night. Be prepared to hear the wind when you sleep... very windy town.

Staff is friendly, the allowed us to leave our luggage early while they were cleaning the house. Monteverde is ver windy at night so take a warm jacket.
