Incredible location across from the beach. Room was spacious and had a view of the beach and the pier. These older buildings don’t have AC but a fan was provided as was a small portable fridge. We didn’t try the bar or restaurant so we can’t rate those. We forgot some important items in our room on checkout and the staff were amazing. They contacted us right away when they found the items and offered to have a staff member deliver them to us. Really helpful.

The service provided by the staff was excellent but money needs to be spent to improve the quality of the accommodation. Carpets were stained and the shading on the bathroom walls suggested that a flood had occurred.

**Review**
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel. It is very nice, charming and welcoming, with a fantastic location right on the seafront.
Before our arrival, we had a few queries, and George was extremely helpful in clarifying everything for us. Throughout the reservation process and during our stay, the staff were wonderful and always happy to assist with any questions.
One of the most important things for us was that the hotel is genuinely dog-friendly, as we travel everywhere with our small dog. It was great that she was welcome in the areas we needed, which made our stay much easier and more enjoyable.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Eastbourne.

Very good all round. Staff were very professional. Only one thing that has stayed on my mind ,was the pile of empty boxes on the Cigar cabinet…
