The room was very clean. The staff was so very helpful and friendly. We were very impressed with everyone working there! So personable! The bar was very nice, along with the little courtyard in the back. Great place to hang out. Loved the coffee bar. Excellent coffee drinks!
Didn't really like the setup of the bed. There was no room on either side to get in or out, so you had to climb up on it to get in. Also, wasn't crazy about the bathroom. Just a small room with a toilet and shower with no sink or vanity. Other than that, everything was wonderful!!

This hotel is located in a vibrant neighborhood packed with ethnic restaurants, book stores, farmers' market, and cafes. It is a short walk to the University of Toronto campus and Casa Loma, a fascinating castle to visit. The room was bright, large, and clean. The room and furniture designs are perfectly matched, both minimalist and traditional Japanese (tatami beds), resulting in an admirably efficient and open atmosphere.
