Fantastic location a very short stroll from the centre of Kandersteg. The staff were very kind and helpful. Amazing views from the rooms (one of which had a balcony). Rooms are decent value for money by Swiss standards and the food downstairs in the restaurant was good value and very tasty!
The rooms need re-decorating and felt dated, but we knew this before booking and to be fair it is all part of the charm with this property. It's not the Ritz but it worked well for our needs.

Comfortable beds, room had two sitting chairs and a small balcony. Good hospitality..
Mostly clean room but spider webs, dust near window/curtain pelmet.
