The close proximity to Brussels midi ( 4 mins). The apartment was spacious for 3 ( 2 double beds ,v2 single beds, 2 bathrooms, entrance to hang coats, washing machine, dishwasher, full size fridge /freezer . Carrefour mini supermarket in Brussels - midi station was brilliant for a quick shop with plenty of choice and essentials
The noise from the street all night, not quite finished decor after DIY had to be done, ceiling fan in living room not working. There is a damage deposit of €100 which was held in " pending " in my account and then removed when we left. I

Overall the stay was very good. Our 1 bedroom apartment has balcony facing other neighbours' back garden, which is relatively quiet. Room upon arrival was clean. Beds were real beds, not sofa beds. Kitchen facilities were great including a fridge, oven and stove, coffee machine, toaster and kettle (would be perfect if it had a washing machine)! Location is just few minutes walk from train station.
We were given a studio instead of the 1 bedroom we booked when we arrived in the evening, but it was immediately corrected upon raising the matter. However, later we discovered there was no bath towels in the room and called the reception, we were told to wait until next day. Next day, only one towel was given but we had 4 people staying. It took a while to resolve.
The rubbish bins at the kitchen and bathroom were emptied twice during our 7 nights stay. However, they were done on our 2nd and 3rd day which was not helpful because we were not allowed to flush any paper in the toilet.

Stone throw away from eurostar brussel terminal, spacious room, nice bathroom and basic kitchen
Neighbourhood not feeling save.
Make sure to get your deposit back before checkout, office not open until 10am, if you need to catch a morning train, good luck to getting back your deposit😢
