rip off

A 15 euro charge for bike storage which was not mentioned when booking is really annoying. In a nosy area with broken facilities.

Horrible. Spent very little time in the accommodation

The location

The room was incredibly stuffy with very little ventilation. It was almost as though the bathroom was in the bedroom as it was simply in the corner, sectioned off by frosted glass walls and a sliding door. The bathroom also had very poor ventilation/none. There was no fan. Given the numerous trips to and from the beach, a terrible odour ensued in the heat and it was almost untenable. It was incredibly hot in the room and there was little that could be done for reprieve. We spent 95% of our time in Santander avoiding the accommodation. Upon departure the staff were unfriendly.

Poor customer service, great location

Location. Cleanliness.

Small room. Badly designed shower door, with the pivot in the centre of it. Fortunately I'm slim so was able to squeeze in and out of the shower. The fan on top speed did not keep room cool, ( outside was 22-25 C max ). Worst of all though was the customer service. The lady at reception : at 8am I asked her to order a taxi for the airport for 9am. It hadn't arrived by 09.15. She was very poor at keeping me informed about what was going on. She phoned the taxi company but didn't tell me the result, and she disappeared for 10 minutes without providing any info. That was very stressful and entirely avoidable if she'd just told me what was going on. Very poor customer service. She seemed like she'd entirely lost interest. In the end I went to stand out in the street myself in desperation to see if I can flag down a taxi myself , as by then I was seriously concerned that I would miss my flight.

Amazing location - there is awesome beach nerby, also supermarket… u can get easily everywhere - 25 minutes walking along the coastline to the centre and sights.. 1 minute away is the most delicious ice cream Regma … everything was clean, comfortable, we got room with the seaview! and really nice staff! Totally recommend…

Nice room, very clean and good located (close to the beach).

The staff could not speak any English and therefore, I could not communicate them, that my neighbour was EXTREMLY loud and I could not sleep well at all :(

Great location near the beach, there was a nice bar downstairs where we foun an excellent breakfast in the morning.

We booked a room with double bed but got one with 2 beds.

Friendly welcoming staff and great location

staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, good central locations, plenty restaurants and located two minutes from the beach

if you have a room facing the street it can be a bit noisy if you are a light sleeper or want to sleep early, it didn’t bother me too much although this could be an issue for other ppl

Really enjoyed our short stay. Great value for money and lots of places to eat nearby. Very helpful staff.

Bathroom door didn't quite close and bathroom walls are a bit see through.

excellent location with the best value for money you can get in El Sardinero if you don’t mind not having breakfast - great restaurants around too!

Clean modern rooms but way too noisy.

Modern interior, clean and next to the beach (30 mins walk from old town).

The room and balcony were tiny, we had a «partial sea-view room » on the first floor and there are several restaurants below which made it very noisy!

Mark, the receptionist was so helpful and friendly. The location was great, close to the beach and palace and an easy bus ride from the station

Superb

The location was excellent! There was a slight mix-up when we tried to extend our stay for an additional night. We ended up in a second room but it was larger and had a view of the street and ocean. Of course, it was a bit more expensive too but well worth it.
