Very nice room with separate sitting area and great view over Certaldo.
Few odd missing touches in room …for example no waste bin. Breakfast service area very cramped

Set in a great location, the hotel is in an old castle still family owned. The current owner is also a jazz drummer, which might explain the laid back atmosphere - the place has just the right vibes, an interesting mix of old and new. We had a nice and quiet room, and enjoyed a good dinner and breakfast, served in the courtyard, overlooking the valley.
Nothing. It is quite an adventure, though, to navigate your way up the hill, get inside the castle with your car, unload the luggage, and then find a parking spot outside the walls. But staying there is the reward.
