This was a lovely place to stay and the owner and staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We loved the little parlor where you can enjoy a cup of tea before bed. There is a very nice patio to sit out on. When showering, the bathroom floor gets wet because there's just a drain in the floor with only a curtain separating the shower from the rest of the bathroom, but at least it was easy to get in and out of without having to climb into a slippery tub like some other places we stayed. This place has character, is clean, and we enjoyed it.

We had an exceptional stay at Residenza d’Epoca Palazzo Buonaccorsi. Set within a beautifully preserved 12th-century palace, the hotel is full of history, charm and authentic Tuscan character. From the moment you step inside, you feel immersed in the atmosphere of medieval San Gimignano.
Our room overlooked the beautiful cobbled streets of the old town, and waking up to those breathtaking views each morning was unforgettable. The location is perfect for exploring everything on foot while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. It was beautifully presented in a charming historic dining room and offered a wonderful selection of fresh fruit, local cheeses and cured meats, homemade cakes and pastries, eggs, bruschetta, cereals and excellent Italian coffee. Everything was fresh, high quality and prepared with care.
The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Their recommendations for local restaurants were excellent, and every place they suggested turned out to be fantastic.
If you’re looking for an authentic Tuscan experience in a historic building with wonderful hospitality, delicious breakfast and an unbeatable location, this is the perfect place to stay. We would happily return and highly recommend it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
