The location is great, within walking distance of Nine Arch Bridge and Little Adam’s Peak. There are also plenty of good eateries within a 20-minute walking radius.
It’s away from the hustle and bustle of Ella town and genuinely feels like a world away, although the town centre is only a 5-minute ride.
The breakfast is incredible. A great fruit platter, made-to-order eggs exactly how you like them, delicious Sri Lankan coconut pancakes, etc., all served with that signature Sri Lankan hospitality.
Siva, the caretaker, was incredibly helpful. Full of tips and helpful ideas, he even accompanied us to show us a shortcut for one of our hikes.
Overall, a really lovely place to stay if you want somewhere peaceful, but still close enough to everything in Ella.
The place looks a bit dated, the shower can be done better with a shower curtain etc

Hele fijne accomodatie net buiten het centrum van Ella. Met de tuktuk, die om de hoek klaar staan, ben je zo in het centrum, terwijl je bij de lodge geniet van de rust, de groene omgeving en het uitzicht.
Het ontbijt is heerlijk en uitgebreid en er zijn eekhoorns en vogels die je kunt zien vanuit je balkon of de ontbijttafel.

Location is ideal for nine arches & little Adam’s peak. The breakfast area is really lovely looking over the jungle green. Siva the guy who works at the guest house is extremely helpful, offering help with anything during your stay in Ella.
The room we stayed in was very dated, pillows need replacing, sheet didn’t fit the bed etc. For some this might not be a problem as a quick stop over, but it was enough to disturb my sleep during the stay.
