Overall, we had a pleasant stay and the hotel was nice.
I specifically mentioned my husband’s birthday in the booking notes, as this stay was planned especially for his birthday. I was hoping the hotel might arrange a small gesture, even just a slice of cake, to make the occasion a little more special.
Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed that there was no acknowledgment at all. It gave me the impression that special attention is mainly given to VIP-level guests, while other guests, including those booking a King Room, may not receive the same level of care.
I understand that such gestures are not mandatory, but a small acknowledgment would have made a big difference to our experience.

Nice and clean. Comfortable beds.
Main swimming pool closed. Was not even made aware at check in. The other pool way too small for the size of the hotel and residences.
The water park offer at sister hotel Grand Hyatt is a scam. False advertising. Wasted taxi fare there and back. Find out all the facts before going.
