We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Porto Matzavino. The location is truly special — peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature, with the sea right in front of you. The water is incredibly calm and clear, and we were lucky enough to see turtles and even dolphins nearby. It is the perfect place for anyone looking for peace, privacy and a genuine Greek experience, while still being close to everything.
The villa itself is beautiful, spacious and very comfortable, with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday. Having three bathrooms was especially convenient for our group. The terrace and the view of the sea are simply breathtaking, and we spent most of our time outside enjoying the scenery.
Vonitsa is also a lovely little town, and its location makes it a great base for exploring the area, including Preveza and Lefkada. There are plenty of beautiful beaches and places to visit nearby, while the villa itself feels like a peaceful escape from the crowds.
Kiki is a wonderful host. She welcomed us with an amazing homemade dinner, fresh fruit and vegetables from her garden, delicious desserts including her incredible portokalopita, wine and so many thoughtful little touches.
She even surprised us with gifts when we left — wine, olive oil and other lovely treats. Her warmth, kindness and hospitality truly made us feel at home.
Everything was perfect — the house, the location, the sea, the nature, and above all the hospitality. We couldn't have wished for a better place to spend our holiday.

Vila este într-o locație de vis, pe malul golfului unde apa e un lac imens și liniștit.
Plaja este fantastica și proprietatea are tot ce trebuie pt a avea o vacanta perfecta.
Terase mari, balcoane la fiecare dormitor, zona de servit masa exterior și interior.
Unul din dormitoare are baie proprie și este grozav.
Poate o saltea topper ar ajuta un somn mai bun in dormitorul matrimonial.
Dar asta nu umbrește cu nimic vacanta, vom revenii cu siguranță.
Este al doilea an când mergem în vacanță pe această plajă.
Kiki este amabila și te ajută cu tot ce ai nevoie, sfaturi pentru locuri de vizitat și chiar pregătește mese la cerere pentru turiști.
Totul a fost superb, răsăritul de pe terasa , plimbările în zona și serile liniștite, apa curata, calda și blândă.
Pentru noi este un loc deosebit și rămâne în suflet până vara următoare.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour pendant 3 semaines. La plage est accessible au fond du jardin. Celle-ci est semi-privée, des transats de la propriétaire sont mis à disposition et des parasols fixes apportent de l'ombre. La plage offre une vue magnifique sur le golfe d'Ambracie. Elle est constituée de petits cailloux, est très propre et nous pouvons apercevoir des tortues de mer venant respirer en surface. Celles-ci sont très utiles car elles chassent les méduses, ce qui fait qu'il n'y en a pas.
La maison est spacieuse et l'emplacement est très calme. La climatisation est installée dans les chambres mais pas dans le salon, ce qui est peu gênant car les grandes terrasses sont couvertes et il y a toujours de l'air. La propriétaire Kiki qui vit au rez-de-chaussée, s'occupe beaucoup de son jardin. Elle propose de préparer de très bons repas avec entrée, plat, dessert (coût en supplément) et apporte souvent des légumes de son jardin et des spécialités grecques. Elle donne des idées de visite de la région. Le ménage est fait toutes les semaines. L'ajout d'un lave-vaisselle pourrait être un plus.
Nous avons vraiment apprécié nos vacances à la Villa Porto Matzavino et reviendrons sûrement.

Ideal place to go if you are looking for peace and tranquillity. Lovely spacious, cool villa with beach at the end of the garden. 10 mins drive to Vonitsa, the nearest town, with all amenities. Would suit couple, family or group of friends. Kiki is an exceptional hostess providing advice, assistance when required plus a constant stream of delicious home cooked treats!
