Best stay ever

This is by far the best place we have stayed the last 4 months of traveling. The facilities are amazing! Big garden, big outdoor kitchen, beach access, supermarket across the street and only 5 min from town - but far enough to not hear the party noise. Ramon and Gloria are very sweet and helpful. We extended our stay with 3 extra days and didn’t want to leave.

Next to the beach, pool table, swimming pool, close to the center of town but very quiet place. Gloria and Ramon are very nice people. Loved this place.

Beautiful hostel in a quiet spot by the beach.

Superb hostel right next to the beach, but far enough away from the centre to be nice and quiet. Lovely big room with a terrace, where we could relax in a hammock or eat food we had prepared in the outdoor kitchen. It was great to sit and watch the birds and iguanas, which enjoyed our banana skins. Nice hot showers, and plenty of places to eat nearby. We enjoyed it so much we stayed. another night.

Beware of the mosquitoes in the kitchen area. Otherwise nothing we didn't enjoy.

Really lovely location that is quiet and very clean kitchen. Very impressed with everything and its location on the quieter side of Montanita. We would certainly return to this place again. Also close to the supermarket.

Amazing place, right at the beach and close to Montanita center, but still quiet at night. Gloria is a fantastic host, very friendly and happy to help. Rooms are super clean and in good condition incl. A/C and hot water. There is an outdoor kitchen with everything you need, a pool table and a pool from where you can watch Iguanas in the trees.

This is a really beautiful large property with lots of great amenities. Comfy bed, hot water and super handy to the groc

We loved the big open common kitchen area and the island space for making meals. Nice to have the extra hangout space with tables, pool table , hammocks and most importantly shade! Having a nice clean swimming pool, out door shower to rinse off sand from the beach was great. Also, it was fun to feed the iguanas at the river by our room all of our fruit & vegetable peels . It’s really nice to walk to the beach right out the gate from the hostel, and the sunsets are amazing.

The managers dogs barking woke us up a couple nights, but I guess it’s their job. the next day we think they caught an iguana so that’s likely what all the excitement and barking was about.😗

The room was very spacious and comfortable and the outdoor area is absolutely beautiful! The kitchen is very well equipped and is wayyy nicer than the pictures on here. The location is perfect, you feel very secluded but once you step outside the gate you're right in front of the super market and right on the beach.

Lovely

Very pleasent grounds. Only a short walk into the centre, but felt very separate. Direct access to the beach. Across the road from a big supermarket.

Pool was a bit dirty. On Saturday night there was unbelievably loud music until 4am, completely silent every other night.

It’s a beautiful place run by a great family. We loved it and ended up staying 2 weeks. Right on the beach and perfect spot to relax each day. Would definitely return💎💎💎

The location is top. Right at the beach but a bit far from the loud party center. Hosts are very nice, the kitchen is idyllic and everything is nice and clean. Comfy beds and nicely pressured showers.

Montinita done right

Good location without being in the party area. Air conditioning. Purified water included. Beach access. Nice dog roaming the property that was friendly, but not pushy. Did I mention air conditioning?

Beautiful property, rare quiet in Montañita

This beautiful guesthouse in Montañita was everything that we wanted: right on the beach, close enough to town to be able to easily walk there for meals and partying, but also quiet and far enough away to allow us escape the craziness of the center. The gorgeous yard, direct beach access, pool table and pool, and beautiful setting means we would definitely stay here again if we are in Montañita!

Fabulous

Nice location just out of the city center. The Very kind hosts where waiting for us at the gate. There is a bbq you can use which we liked a lot :-) Every apartment has a nice terrace or hammock to chill.

The bathroom wasn’t too clean. They could pay more attention to this. Breakfast for 5 dollar at the guesthouse is quite expensive.
