The staff were friendly and genuinely tried to resolve issues quickly, which we really appreciated. When we were not satisfied with the room we initially booked, they kindly upgraded us to a higher-category room, and we were thankful for that.
Overall, we have always liked this hotel mainly because of its very convenient location, which is why we have chosen it repeatedly. However, after this stay, we are uncertain whether we would choose it again in the future.
The rooms are clearly very outdated. In one of the rooms, the toilet would not refill after flushing unless we opened the tank lid and manually adjusted it. One of the bedside lights did not work at all, and overall the lighting in the room was extremely dim. For a five-star hotel, it was disappointing to find that the bathrobe was torn, and the towels provided daily had burn marks or other stains. Additionally, the outdoor pool area could be better maintained, as there was visible litter, including cigarette butts, even in the water, which was disappointing.
There were many small but frustrating issues like these, which significantly affected our overall experience.
