Safety Considerations Around the Property There's plenty of wildlife since our lodge is nestled in a majestic mountain/ranch area. That can cause unexpected wildlife appearances on the property ranging from ants, spiders, scorpions, snakes, raccoons, bobcats, to bears. Please be mindful that this was their home first before we harmoniously moved into share their territory. If wildlife visits during your stay, as our backyard is the National Forest, we will not issue a refund if this occurs. We warmly suggest booking elsewhere if this will be an issue for you and your guests. Please be respectful and cautious of the wildlife during your stay and do not feed them. Watch for Rattlesnakes around the property during the warm winter months as the sequoia national park area is home to these incredible reptiles. Insect & Pest Control Sprays bi-weekly but the Sequoia's is home to insects, spiders and scorpions. The scorpions are not deadly but do sting much like a bee sting. If you see a scorpion on the floor (even if it looks dead) don't pick it up or step on it, swat it with the fly swatter and dispose of it. Do not mess with or enter the jacuzzi tub that is located on the deck. It is out of service and being renovated. We hope to have it operational by 2024! Watch your step when going down stairs and around balconies. The game room has a very small unique sized step down so watch your step there as well. There are two twin bunk beds, please use caution when climbing ladder to get on and off of bunk beds. Do not leave children unattended on bunkbeds. The property is amazing, comfortable, roomy, and very “homey.” We felt very much at home the entire time we were there. While we had a blast in Sequoia NP, we were happy to come back at night. There are nearby markets and some restaurants. The hostess, Bree, was responsive, accommodating, and simply a really nice person. She was attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a minor issue (not because of host/property) and she still addressed it with the utmost care and importance. We were very impressed with the level of care we received! I would definitely recommend this property if you want to visit Sequoia NP! A+++++

Clean, quiet and good customer service. Bree was very nice and let us check in a few hours early and that saved us time and got to see the Sequoia Park in just one day. Thank you so much!

Both the property and host were outstanding, making our stay very enjoyable - a five-star experience. The home is relatively secluded just a few minutes away from Generals Highway through Three Rivers. The property is well managed and beautiful with lots of flowers and fruit trees throughout. We enjoyed the quiet mornings and evenings watching various wildlife from the upper level of the house. The home itself was also plenty spacious, comfortable and clean. Our host, Bree, went above and beyond in making our stay a good experience. Any questions or issues we had were resolved quickly and it was a pleasure working with her.
