Enormous room that was quiet despite facing the road.
Decent breakfast.
Comfortable bed with lots of cushions - too many if anything.
Very handy sockets next to bed.
Very narrow bathroom and the shower splashes onto the floor. Shower over bath and very slippery underfoot.
No dinner Sunday evenings - food stops 4pm. Directed to other pub short walk away so no real hardship.
Slight off smell in some parts of the hotel though room fine.

Good location, clean and comfortable.
Meals were average but filling and the service was great.
The room was cold as the heating was turned off, but a plug in heater was provided.

Food and beer were ok. Good breakfast.
Room looked out onto the high street. Very noisily first thing in the morning. Large damp patch on the ceiling and the room smelt of damp and mildew.
When we arrived the bar was very busy. The dining room not so busy. There was a sign indicating that check-in was at the bar. We spoke to the chap in the dining room who directed us to the bar. After waiting patiently in the beer queue, the barman said he was very busy and we should check in with the dining room. The chap in the dining room said we should check-in at the bar. I explained that if they didn’t sort themselves out, we would be leaving. Clearly not enough staff on a busy Saturday evening!
