This was a nice, quiet place to relax. The staff were good and we enjoyed the pool. The shuttle service to the airport was very efficient.
No fridge in the room and it wasn't as clean as we expected. However, when we raised our concerns staff were quick to come and remedy the situation.

The location is great, close to the beach and multiple restaurants. 15/20 minutes taxi ride from the airport. The room was huge and had a balcony.
The wifi speed was bad after 8 pm, and sometimes the router needs to be reset

The resort is in a great location to the beach. Krishanan was very friendly and arranged airport pickup. As a table tennis player, I was happy to to go with Krishanan to play and meet other like minded people. If anyone looking for a friendly stay in Negombo, I highly recommend Leighton Resort.

Good for a one night stay after arriving from Sydney. Room was okay, could be a bit cleaner. Breakfast basic but good, fruit, bread and omelette.
Room 208 - bathroom light when turned off flashed as a strobe light all night, thankfully I had an eye mask to wear.
The free transfer was a bit tricky to organise and we waited 40 minutes after calling. Unsure why we provided our arrival time yet the transfer was not ready for us.
