Villa Elena is in the perfect location, an easy 10 minute walk to Potes which is a lovely vibrant town with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Private parking at the villa was very useful as parking in Potes itself looked quite difficult.
The villa is beautifully furnished and our deluxe double room was large, clean and bright. The bathroom was really lovely and the shower had great water pressure. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet at night as the villa is set back from the road.
The real highlight is the breakfast - fresh fruit, a homecooked savoury dish followed by a homecooked sweet treat plus fruit juice and tea or coffee. The cost was not included in our reservation but the small extra charge is 100% worth it, it was absolutely delicious and very filling. Communication and access to the villa was very easy and we had no problems. The owner is a lovely lady who clearly works hard to keep up such high standards.
I would definitely recommend Villa Elena if you are looking to stay in the Picos region.

It really is a beautiful property, I was in the room with the wood framed balcony. The room was very clean and well maintained, as was the whole property. The host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming and I will definitely stay here next time I am in the area. The breakfast was also very good. Also secure parking for guests was a massive bonus!

Had room with front balcony. Ate breakfast (9am onwards) the first morning, else did not require for other days due to trips
Used as a base for Fuente De (30mins away), Cares Gorge hike (Cain 90mins away), and had arrived from Covadonga Lakes.
Short walk into town for evening restaurants.
