About this house rental
Air-conditioned in all rooms with a community pool in Gran Alacant near the beach for 4 people. Located 8 km from Alicante airport (without any inconvenience). Gran Alacant is situated on a hill overlooking Alicante Bay. From the kitchen window, there is a beautiful view of the hills. The residential area is accessible with secure gates. There is a parking space right in front of the house, a terrace downstairs with a barbecue, and another sunbathing area upstairs with two sun loungers. There is a supermarket across the street, as well as restaurants and bars. The area is very quiet with a shared pool. The living room opens onto the kitchen, which is fully equipped, with a hallway separating the 2 bedrooms and the bathroom with a shower. There is Wi-Fi and also a satellite dish with English, Spanish, and French channels.

The property is located in a nice gated neighborhood, with beautiful views to nature trails. If you’re looking for a relaxing, safe stay, this is a perfect option. We found the apartment well maintained, all the appliances we used worked well and it was very clean. Communication with the host was fast and effective. Some things worth mentioning here: 1) this is a second-floor apartment where you need to walk up a staircase. This wasn’t an issue for us.2) We found parking was a bit limited in the gated community. Although we got in late a couple of nights, we were always able to find a spot not too far away. 3) There’s a small supermarket walking distance and major supermarkets within a 5 minute drive.4) The water heater is on the smaller side and you could run out of hot water if you don’t time your showers correctly.This was a great experience overall and my wife and I would definitely recommend staying here.

A little daunted by the 3 flights of stairs (not mentioned)' TV not working for 3 out of the 4 weeks, the swimming pool locked up for the duration, although the board at the gate showed winter opening times, the apartment terrace is in shade most of the day and the pool had really nice sunny spaces to sit . The plus points outweigh the negatives, we had 4 weeks very nice weather, not a drop of rain. A really excellent supermarket on the doorstep with a fantastic butcher/deli and in store bakery.
