Not modern, more of a classic. But it's clean, convenient, and the staff are friendly, accommodating, and patient. A couple of restaurants within very short walking distance. Recommended.

Very helpful and considerate. No hesitation coming here next time.

The place was darling!

Old but clean and comfortable, It reminded me of the motels we use to stay in in the 70's. The deadbolt lock did. not align to lock completely, which was concerning for a single woman. But I figured Georgetown is not a high crime city.

Older hotel, very clean, good substantial continental breakfast, pleasant staff, bathroom door needs to be fixed. Otherwise everything was great.

We ended up at the Georgetown Mountain Inn after being in an accident on the I70. The road conditions were terrible and the hotel was swamped with people looking for rooms, some of whom were very impatient and the hotel staff stayed calm and professional and kind. Our truck was stuck in their parking lot until the tow truck could come and they were patient, accommodating and just very kind throughout. I would always choose to stay here again.

This is a good Inn for people going to activities in the surrounding mountains (ski, mountain bike, etc...) You will find indoor pool and exterior jacuzzi. Close by (walking distance) few restaurants and convenience store, gas stations, tourist info office. Outstanding staff, may be the best in my experience...

This is a great family spot! Staff were really nice and upgraded our room and left a treat for our son's birthday. We were in town to take the kids on the holiday train, and this was a great place to stay for the night. Walkable to the main street with restaurants and shops and a great park with a playground. Really nice indoor pool on site for kids, too! Would stay again!

Great little local place to stay. Location was convenient for dinning and Georgetown Loop. Kids loved the indoor pool. The staff were even nice enough to call us shortly after we checked out to let us know we left a kids stuffy behind. Very happy overall.

We based our decision to stay here on the reviews. However, bathroom had black mold around the tub, carpet was old and dirty, all lights only worked from the main switch as the switch by the bed didn’t work. The lamp shade on one of the lamps was cracked and broken. The pillows kept slipping behind the bed and the outlet behind the bed couldn’t be used because the bed was too close to it and the bed was too heavy to move it away. Oh yes, the heat couldn’t be adjusted until it decided to get hot in the middle of the night. So, all in all, if you are only looking for a bed to sleep in, then you will be fine.

Most excellent stay in one of my favorite Colorado towns

We enjoyed our time at Georgetown Mountain Inn. It had a nice rustic feel, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay before tackling a mountain hike. The room was perfectly clean but not pristine in terms of maintenance (some chipped paint etc.), but nothing that impacted our stay. If you are looking for a modern, new and shiny place to stay, look elsewhere. But for mountain charm, this was a great place.

Worst expensive hotel we’ve ever stayed. Front door and bathroom locks didn’t work, bathroom was dirty and worn out and carpet was filthy.

The staff was very friendly but the actual rooms looked rundown.

Wonderful staff, very helpful. Mattresses, pillows, towels need replaced and updated. Rustic. Renovations would make a huge impact.

Charming town in a lovely setting. Georgetown Mountain Inn provided a nice, quiet place to stay. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Shout out to Jessica who went out of her way to accommodate our late check- in.

We had the Suite room. Very large and comfortable. Continental breakfast is available. The outside hot tub is perfect for the 2 of us. We had a few problems with A/C and ceiling fans not working but we opened the windows and that really cooled down the room. Overall we would stay again.

Decent motel in a tourist town. Owner was very nice at check-in. Convenient location. Room was clean, but upkeep on outside of rooms could be better. Doesnt give a very good first impression. But if you can look past that, alls good.

Just an overnighter, comfortable with a nice restaurant next door

We stayed in the Colorado room, which I chose because I thought my teenage daughter would enjoy the rustic look of the wooden walls and log furniture. She thought it was great. Everything was comfortable and clean. There is no air conditioning but there was a ceiling fan. We stayed in August and were comfortable with windows closed with the fan on- we are from Florida, so it didn't seem warm to us. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a little awkward with the setup- limited space made it difficult for more than one person at a time to get what they wanted. Might suggest moving the beverages to the end where people who just want coffee or tea refills can access while others are preparing food. Parking was limited in the back near the rooms, but there is plenty of additional parking in the front. Otherwise, great trip and really enjoyed our stay.

The property itself was great, nothing specific to complain about. It was overpriced however - I just took it because I had no other option. It would be great to have 2-3 rooms for single travellers.

Great service. At check-in the manager noticed we had a pet-friendly room reserved but we had no pets, so she got us another room with no trouble. The Alpine Restaurant and Bar next door had excellent pizza. Perfect location for our early-morning hike the next day at Bierstadt.

Great staff. We had not planned to arrive late but had a lot of weather related issues which delayed flights, etc. I was very impressed when they called me to check on my arrival time and then they made arrangements for a late check in. Very nice that they were looking out for us.

Perfectly fine spot for a weekend stay in Georgetown. Friendly and hospitable staff and free parking. Only a slow 10-minute walk to the historic center. Room had everything we needed but the cleaning needs some attention to detail. Dust, dead bugs, leftover papers from previous guests. That sort of oversight makes me concerned for what else has been missed. Other guests are too loud in the morning and the lack of a/c means you need to sleep with the windows open in the summer. This would be fine except for the fact that this “Non Smoking Establishment” places ashtrays in the walkways—and invite for smokers to choke us non-smokers out, even in our rooms.
Fine but not sure we’d stay again. Has the potential to be super cool!
