About this resort
Enjoy a stay at this vintage, small town, school house. This property is located in the tiny town of Mineral, WA that was once the center of a booming mining and logging industry. A devastating fire in the 1920’s switched the towns main draw to the fantastic recreational fishing on Mineral Lake. We are just a short walk to the public access boat launch, hiking, biking, and only 15 minutes from year round access to Mount Rainier National Park.

We had an amazing stay at Mineral schoolhouse. My adult siblings with families of their own all fit in the very sizeable rooms comfortably with plenty of room and interesting things to keep us entertained and active. We played pickleball in the gym, enjoyed a stage performance put on by the kids, played bingo, watched tv in the family room, played "school", walked to the lake, pretended to be lunch ladies, rang the school classes bell, sent their parents to the principal's office, etc. So much fun and was such an interesting venue for us. Everyone wants to book again!! Super close to Mt Rainier park, hiking, and EZ time horseback riding that we also enjoyed.

We had an amazing long weekend in Mineral, Washington. There were 18 of us in total and there was plenty of space to move around and hang out. It was a rainy weekend, so we were extra thankful for the gym space. The place was clean and well stocked. We made a ton of memories and can’t wait to go back!

We really loved this unique stay. We embraced the school atmosphere and enjoyed spending several days together for our holiday getaway.
