About this lodge

Situated in Michigan, this charming lodge for $1,700 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. This magnificent 10,000 square foot lakefront lodge features 180 degree lake and golf course views from nearly every room. It is perfect for multiple family retreats, golf stay and play or corporate functions. The Lodge can accommodate up to 24 guests with 21 beds, 6 large bedrooms and 5 spacious bathrooms on three floors. One of the spectacular features of the Lodge is the river rock fireplace in the main level living room. Another is the cedar tongue and grove cathedral ceilings that complement the living area. Tumbled Italian tile, marble, hardwoods and carpet is incorporated throughout the well-appointed rooms. There is a massive gourmet kitchen with a Viking Professional 6 burner gas range as well as an over sized Sub Zero refrigerator. A microwave, convection oven, regular oven with warming drawer, dishwasher and beverage refrigerator, two 12 cup coffee pots and two 4-slot toasters add to the list of the appliances .An over sized granite counter that seats s8 along with the large granite island completes this amazing space. Formal dining space is located next to the open kitchen area seating 10. Washer and dryer are located on main level. The Lodge has central air conditioning and all bedrooms, which are lake front, walk out to either balconies or to the main deck of the Lodge. A two person Jacuzzi tub is located in the master suite in addition to the massive marble or Italian tumbled tile walk in showers in 3 of the 4 bathrooms. The wrap around main deck provides a large gas grill, bar height fire table, , numerous seating areas, patio tables, chairs and umbrellas. The brick paver patio provide guests with a 4 person hot tub and an outdoor basketball hoop. A stainless steel fire pit for a wood burning camp fire as well as a custom made benches and tables is located at the water front. Camp fire wood is provided for each night stay. A breath taking cascading waterfall runs along the entire length of the property and the lakefront is the perfect spot to fish from or just relax at the lakes edge. For the young or young at heart, the lodge offers a game room area with a pool table, foosball, ping pong table, air hockey and a full size poker table. A complete second living room along with an 8 foot bar with a beverage center containing a refrigerator and coffee station completes the interior of the game room. The Lodge is located between the number one green and the number two fairway of Solitude Links Golf Course and is a public golf course. The restaurant Bunkers Burger and BBQ Co. is located at the clubhouse and they also offer a full service bar. The Lodge is located in Kimball Michigan; 10 minutes from the beaches of Lake Huron and the city of Port Huron as well as the Blue Water Bridges which is the entry way to Canada and it is minutes from shopping, casino's and restaurants. Within 10 minutes from the Lodge are three more great golf courses: Black River Country Club (18 hole public), The Elks Club (18 hole public) and Marysville Golf Course (18 hole public). Approximately one mile from the Lodge is the KOA Water/Amusement park Sawmill City.

The property is as it looks in the photo's. Beautiful scenery and views. Even though it's close to the highway, we never really heard the noise. So much to do that you don't even have to leave the property. If you're looking for a great family getaway, this is the place to do it at.

We just recently had a guys trip at this property. We were all blown away by the house and the lot by itself. Golfing was a bonus. Jason and Bryce answered any and all questions we had in a timely manor. The house itself was immaculate, with tons of things to do. We all had a great time!

A wonderful property, highly recommend! Tons of space and lots of fun things to do. We had extended family and there something for everyone. The hot tub was hit, would be amazing if there was a pool for the summer! Beautiful setting and nice clean well stocked house. We will be back!

Six families stayed here in this amazing house for the Silver Sticks Finals Hockey Tournament. The place was awesome. I would highly recommend staying here. Bryce and Jason were wonderful to communicate with. Hopefully we get to do it again in two years. Go Pittsburgh Aviators.

Absolutely stunning house. Every room was stocked with everything you could need for your stay plus extras to make you feel at home. Lots of games provided, always something to do. Cozy, comfortable atmosphere. Owner was very nice and informative.

We stayed here for our wedding with our whole wedding party. The place was stunningly beautiful and she had everything you could need there. She was easily reachable in case there were any issues. Kathy goes above and beyond to help her guests and she is truly an amazing host! We can’t wait to go back!

We rented the San Angelo Lodge for our annual girls weekend (14 people) and everything was absolutely perfect! The house was spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with anything we could have needed! Cathy was the best checking in on us and even helped with a special request. We would definitely stay there again!!

Kathy and Joe have the best rental property in southeast Michigan, hands down. My friends and I always enjoy or stay at the SanAngelo lodge and last weekend couldn’t have gone by better! Fresh beds, a spotless chef’s kitchen, a hot tub and a pool/ping pong/poker basement that puts the best home entertainment rooms to shame. We check around for new rentals every year but somehow keep finding our way back to Kimball :) We couldn’t be happier with our stay and are already looking forward to next year!

We cooked 3 meals a day at the home, played games in the walkout basement, relaxed in hot tub and all the beds are comfortable. 1st class experience & thank you to Kathy for being so friendly and prompt throughout our stay we needed to reach out. Kathy (and her house) were perfect for our multigenerational “Irish Cousins” girls getaway. The house is exquisite and extremely well appointed. Kathy helped us by coordinating in-house massages, a yoga session and a visit to a local art studio for a project. She went above and beyond to make a memorable weekend for all of us!! We hope to come back next year!

My group is anywhere from 12-16 friends from college. Although we are all 25+ years of age this scares some home owners. Kathy welcomed us with open arms and made our stay extremely enjoyable. She gave us a tour when we first arrived and promptly answered texts if we needed something. The property is beautiful and the sunsets on the golf course are stunning. The makeup and hair stylists worked with the bride and bridesmaids upstairs, while the game room area downstairs was perfect for the groom and groomsmen to get ready and relax. This is a great place for large families to vacation. Plenty of outdoor and indoor games for entertainment. There is fishing in the pond in front of the lodge. This lodge is located by the 1st n 2nd hole on a beautiful golf course.. Gourmet kitchen, Lake Huron beaches are within 10 min drive. Gourmet kitchen, large bedrooms and bathroom. Everything is top of line.
