Very friendly staff, clean and new bathrooms and rooms. Bar seemed nice. Quiet area. Within short drive from Freiburg old town. Bakery right next door.
Not clearly marked whether it is okay to park the car in the driveway of the hotel to unload luggage. Noise made by aircon in the room was rather loud.

great connection by tram to the city center, parking available, nice view to the hills, fast check in, good bakery right nearby, pet friendly
breakfast should have more options (eg oat milk), bed mattress was too soft for my taste

There was airconditioning.
The airconditioning came out of 1 vent only, not onto the big beds.
Parking cost a lot extra.
