Rooms look nothing like pictures, and the smell is absolutely terrible! There are also stray cats everywhere!

Enjoyable stay for the weekend. Travelled with friends for the party. Very excellent customer service. Rooms are clean and renovated. Significant changes in the property. Recommend people to book and will stay again when in the area.

Cheap but gross there’s a reason you don’t see the bathrooms in the pictures before booking and the bedding was filthy when I went to ask for clean bedding I was talk to and treated like I was a liar I didn’t get any bedding until I asked him if he wanted to go see for himself this place is ran by the owners who live on site I do not recommend anyone to stay here

The guy at the counter wanted cash for the security deposit regardless i said NO just charge my CC then he said we will extra charge more on top just for using myCC , the hot water last an eternity to come out the shower, very noisy place at nights you could hear the fwy traffic all night long.

The room had cockroaches in the room I was given and no clothing pile to hang clothes on hangers and no bed side tables . Really not what I paid for. Also male at front desk was rude.

AS SOON AS WE ARIVED WE SAW ROACHES. WE CALLED AROUND BUT NO ONE HAD AVAILABLE ROOMS. IT WAS SO NOISY YOU CAN HEAR THE FREEWAY. THE STAFF WAS RUDE ALSO.

My stay at Express Inn was thoroughly unsatisfactory, marred by an array of issues that underscored the establishment's lack of concern for guest comfort. The owner's evident power trip manifested through arbitrary rules and a dismissive attitude, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere. Adding to the discomfort was the owner's son, who patrolled the premises, contributing to a sense of unease rather than providing any semblance of security. The presence of stains on the bed and the unfortunate discovery of roaches made the room far from the clean and inviting space one expects from a motel. What further soured the experience was the excessively strict no-visitors policy, a measure enforced with an insistence on collecting visitors' IDs for copying. This requirement not only felt invasive but also led to friends opting out of visiting altogether, undermining the purpose of a social stay. Moreover, the owner's practice of personally knocking on doors at 11:00 am to hasten check-out reflected a lack of consideration for guests' privacy and sleep. It appeared as though customer satisfaction took a backseat to the owner's convenience, leaving a lasting impression of a business that prioritizes its rules over the well-being of its patrons. To add insult to injury, the evident inconsistency in rule enforcement and the seemingly arbitrary nature of these rules only compounded the negative experience. Express Inn failed to meet even the basic standards of a comfortable motel.

TLDR: not as they've advertised. The front desk, well side window, person's eyes were so heavily bloodshot that I'm not sure they could be the whites of his eyes ever again. He was very adamant about no smoking in rooms or on the property, okay no problem. The family and I head up to the room, turned on the lights and bugs flew at us. No end tables, which is bad if you have to have a breathing machine to sleep. More bugs in the microwave. Did not feel safe in room or neighborhood. We were out of there in under 5 minutes.

I’m not one to leave reviews but I needed to for this one because from someone who stays at plenty of hotels from time to time, this one is on the bottom of the list. If I could have left a 0 star review I would. To start off , their “ clean “ towels had stains on them, their “clean” sheets had stains on them ( we had to use our own , luckily we had blankets in the car ) ; the AC had water leaking all on the floor , we woke up to a puddle on the side of the bed. To top it off, They are probably the most rude hotel hosts I’ve encountered. No type of customer service nor communication. I do not recommend this hotel to anybody , definitely not worth your money. If I was able to get a refund , I most definitely would. We will never be staying here again.

I can’t really comment on my stay because when I turned on the lights to the room I saw bugs scurrying all over the floor and when I went into the bathroom they were running all over the tub. At that point I went back to the office to get my $60 cash deposit back and started looking for other accommodations. Although I didn’t actually stay longer than a couple of minutes I did notice that room is about as Spartan as you can get. I wouldn’t recommend this property.

Saw drug dealers across the street when I was checking in, then again in the morning when I was leaving. Their system won't allow you to run the deposit on your card, they'll only take cash and of course their ATM costs $3.50. The room had no pictures on the wall and had no bedside tables. It looks reminded me of a room a broke 19yr old college student would live in

To start with, they only accepted cash for the hotel deposit, not debit or credit cards. Additionally, there wasn't an ATM on the property, which made it difficult to obtain the requisite amount of cash. The place is going through changes, remodeling. Lots of workers during the day. The room was clean but lacked important features. Although the bed was new and inviting, it had no headboard. Also missing were nightstands, luggage racks, or any surfaces to place our belongings, forcing us to keep everything on the floor or the TV stand without any lamps nearby. On the bright side, there was a small but functional refrigerator and an efficient microwave. The bathroom was spotless, but unfortunately, the bathtub was not usable due to lacking a plug or any mechanism to prevent water from draining. The shower's water pressure, however, was steady and gentle. A hook on the bathroom door would have been a handy addition. The bed offered a conflicting experience. While it was a conversational piece, its design proved, at times, bothersome. Its light metal frame thwarted anything from going underneath. But with a slight nudge, a loud and hollow drum sound would echo through the room. I have never experienced this in any hotel. Anywhere. For a low-expectation, overnight stay with an early morning exit, it's alright. But for a fun family experience or getaway, definitely not! -RB

It was nice because it was a new room but the bed was terrible the bathroom was to small no closet no night stands they said it is not finished being remolded but why use it then. Kinda noisy with the freeway. Pillows are way to flat and towels way to small im not that big and it was to small for me. The picture it shows on hotel.com is not even close to what it was.

My partner and I are usually not picky with hotels. As long as we have a clean bed and shower, there’s a lot we can tolerate. This stay was the first time we’ve ever cut a trip short because of how uncomfortable the hotel was. The bed did not have a fitted sheet and instead had a regular sheet, exposing a very old and dirty mattress. The knob to the bathroom door was not properly tightened to the door so it almost came off every time we closed the door. We also had issues with our shower only giving us extremely hot or extremely cold water, even after we had the front desk come look at it. Aside from that, we were awoken in the middle of the night by what sounded like someone pressure washing right outside our room. To further add to the hotels level of carelessness, we saw the cleaning lady pushing an actual shopping cart filled with cleaning supplies rather than an actual cart for their supplies. Please save your money and stay elsewhere.

The rooms are being renovated. Clean and spacious rooms. I do see lot of good that improvements in the customer service and also the upkeeping of the rooms. I will highly recommend people to book the rooms and stay there. There is a cash deposit which is refunded back when you check out.

I don't like being dinged for $60 for none smoking, an inconvenience shoved upon any potential customer, if you do get dinged? Demand a receipt... There are many improvements happening to remodeling at this location and some noise.. My room was spacious and clean. There is much noise generated from the Freeway.

The cleanliness was a little disappointing and kind of gross. The bathroom door had a spot on it that I don’t know for sure if it was crap or blood and then when I lifted the toilet seat, it was kind of gross around the edges. And in the morning I went to take a shower, and there was no hot water coming out, I let the water run for ever and I told the office when I was checking out about the hot water and they told me oh they knew the plumber had messed it up. Why would they rent a room out that you can’t take a hot shower, and there is a dead electrical plug next to the bed

Dirty Towels. Super disrespectful property manager. Wouldn’t let us get our stuff from the room. So I had to call the police for a peaceful solution and that was just to get our belongings and go. He also kept our deposit. We will never go back to this dirty establishment.
