The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel / pub has a nice old time charm. Their hot breakfast was amazing!

Very friendly and helpful staff.
Decent beer and very good food. Excellent breakfast - one of the best.
The room did not live up to expectations for the price.
Carpet a little grubby. Woodchip wallpaper peeling in places. Paint peeling in bathroom and bath panel coming away.
I was a little perturbed to find the previous room occupant's log still occupying the toilet - it took a couple of flushes to get it away. That tells me that the loo was not cleaned between the last occupant and me...
The bed was for me uncomfortable - far too soft. That is a personal preference.
