As you step inside the home you will find an open and social kitchen/living room with beautiful modern finishes such as exposed wood beams painted black, stylish lighting fixtures, and a gorgeous floor-to-ceiling stone hearth. In the living room, you will find a comfortable white sectional sofa contrasting the dark hardwood floors creating a beautiful space to relax in. Curl up on the sofa or lounge chair as you warm up by the gas fireplace or watch a movie on the 46” TV. Just off the living room is the dining area where you will find a large wood table with bench seating that seats 8. The open kitchen features modern appliances, ample counter and cabinet space, and all the cookware needed to prepare a delicious meal for your group. From the kitchen, you can also access the front deck of the home, a large space great for outdoor entertaining in the summer months. Take your dinner party outside with a propane BBQ and patio table with seating for 4 situated on the front deck. With peaceful nature surrounding the deck and outdoor lighting creating a cozy ambiance, this space will be a favorite hangout spot for your group. The downstairs floor also includes a comfortable bedroom and a full bathroom. If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. In the winter we strongly suggest a truck or SUV with AWD or 4WD and all-terrain tires. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please note that grills and outdoor furniture are not available during the months of November to April due to snow. If lake time is what you are looking for the home is only a 5-minute drive or 15-minute bike ride to William Kent Beach which is great for swimming and right next to the famous Sunnyside Restaurant and marina where you can find great food and all kinds of watercraft rentals. In the winter months, you are just 15 minutes from Palisades Tahoe ski resort, 10 minutes from Homewood Ski Resort, and 10 minutes from the Tahoe Nordic Cross Country Center. It is also just a short walk to a small hill that is great for sledding. Looking for a little less outdoor activity on your vacation?
