Connected to the living room is the fully equipped kitchen where you will find everything you need to cook a great meal with your friends and family. When you are ready to settle in for the night you will find two comfortable bedrooms located on opposite sides of the main living area providing additional separation of space. If there is a golfer in your group they will love the fact that the home is only a two-minute drive away from the Brockway Golf Club course. In the winter the golf course is open for XC skiing, sledding, snowshoeing, and dog walking. You are also only 15 minutes from Northstar ski resort with the added bonus that the location of the house will keep you away from the ski traffic through Kings Beach. If you are looking for XC trails you are less than a 10 min drive to the North Tahoe Regional park, or if you are feeling extra adventurous you can access their trail system from Tiger Ave just above the house. This same trail system is great for hiking and biking in the summer. With its easy access to town, ski resorts, golfing, and the lake, this cabin is a great home base for the ultimate Tahoe getaway any time of the year. Getting Around: The home is within a 5-minute walk to the nearest public transportation stop HWY 267 AT Speckled St which runs every hour. Or make the short drive down to King's Beach where you can use the FREE park and ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort. With HWY 89 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas located around Tahoe City. Tahoe has UBER, Lyft, and many taxi companies. Other Things to Note: Please note that like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please also be aware of long travel times and pass closures due to winter weather conditions. If you are renting this home from April until the first snowfall there are NO fires allowed in Lake Tahoe. Please note that grills and outdoor furniture are not available during the months of November to April due to snow. Please note that guests would need to move their vehicles ASAP on a snowy day.
