Lovely cottage inside clean tidy and plenty of space.10 minute walk to Ambleside very convenient. Comfortable beds.
On the edge of a local residential areas which lets down cottage down locals unfriendly!
It’s is supposed to be dog friendly yet dogs not allowed in bedrooms. Garden not dog safe due to stream running through garden and follow behind the other house and dog can easily escape to others gardens!!

It had everything we needed regarding kitchen equipment, linen, books/suggestions for walks in the area. It was a lovely quiet area, within walking distance of shops…albeit up a steep hill..(!)
The rather neglected garden gave a poor first impression of the property…however, everything indoors was well presented and well looked after.
For anyone with mobility issues the steps leading to both entrances could be problematic.

Close to town , off street parking, spacious kitchen and room plus conservatory
Garden a disgrace, fortunately we didn’t use it but I certainly wouldn’t want to be sat in it in the summer it’s not fit .
