It was a perfect cottage for us

Cosy, comfortable and had everything you needed for a lovely stay, quiet location away from the town with the added bonus of a lovely walk a few minutes from the cottage. Car parking space was a bonus.

The walk up to the cottage from Ambleside was quite hilly in places - not an issue for us but could imagine it would be challenging if you had reduced mobility. Careful on the stepping stones in the garden, they became very slippery in the rain , my husband went flying!
