Hotel was beautifully set in tranquil surroundings. However when we arrived, we found that a neighbouring B&B were building an extension and so at 8am every morning, they were start work. Our bathroom was directly behind so not what we were expecting.
Room was spacious with large bathroom.
1. Noise from building site everyday.
2. Bed was large but very hard.
3. Room was damp, evidence of damp in bedroom and bathroom which is probably down to having to shower over a bath which wobbles with no screen or curtain. Water goes everyone making it a slipping hazard.
4. Location. We knew about the lane in which the hotel was situated but not the rough steep road/path you need to drag your cases up in order to connect to the hotel path. The hotel do offer a bike service but we could not reach the hotel and so we had to drag our cases ourselves. This hotel is NOT ideal for for someone with disabilities as the road/path which is used by constant scooters and building supply trucks using the very steep path has made it in poor in condition.
5. Hotel path is poorly lit, advisable to take your own torch as the small path does have trip hazards.
5. Breakfast. Not aware you had to choose an option. Not buffet style. We choose to eat out one morning as were bored with choices.
6. More sunbeds needed for main part of hotel. Villas have their own.

Great location, although a 5 minute walk to the main road and not reachable by car, it was quiet and looked out into the rice fields, so nice and peaceful away from the hustle of central Ubud without feeling far away from it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and clean with everything you needed. The pool and grounds were also lovely, although not as big and spacious as the pictures suggest.
Toilet bin for used toilet paper not changed or emptied in the 3 nights we were there.

Loved the location, near everything plus near the rice paddies, Staff were loverly.
I had the bottom room which was dark.
But very quiet.
