We love Samhita.. stayed here many times over the last 15yrs and it never disappoints
Only negative is that Jalan Bismhah is getting way too busy .. and the condition of the road is getting worse every year .. certainly no reflection on Samhita

What a gem of a hotel! Location was so central but you would never know you were in the busy hustle and bustle of Ubud. So easy to walk everywhere and wonderful restaurants close by (like across the road and next door). The staff were very helpful, very friendly. I look forward to staying here again.

Spacious room, great shower and comfortable bed, good breakfast, very attractive grounds and lovely pool
Access to pool was for me very difficult requiring assistance from staff. Suggest hotel instal grab railing to assist with pool access and thereby attract older guests. Had a few issues with the plumbing in my room. However repairs were quickly made. General maintenance in the hotel could be improved.

Near food places. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent but the coffee was poor and service was very slow when they had more guests.
Children and Senior unfriendly. Too many stairs without railings. No shelter during wet weather. It was difficult and scary to walk after dark because of the steep stairs leading to the rooms. Room cleaning and lighting in the room could be better.
Rooms by the entrance were noisy from the bar opposite the resort. But these rooms had fewer steps and bumpy ground.
Room air con wasn't working well until the last day. They fixed it. Hair dryer was too weak to blow dry my hair.
