What a gem of a spot! Great location for walking to Palace or Monkey Forest as well as restaurants. Beautiful classic Balinese architecture. Gorgeous gardens and grounds. Awoke to birdsong. Superb relaxing massage in the spa.
My only disappointment was the pool is no longer salt water. It is still wonderful.

We always stay here because the location is fabulous. Set off the main street, you don't hear the noise of the road and it is so easy to get around. There are two pools and it is never overcrowded. Even when the resort is fully booked, it's like you hardly ever see people unless it is at breakfast. We were fortunate this time around as there were a few big groups staying there the first half of our trip so breakfast became a buffet for the same price. Once the group left, it went back to ordering off the menu but you always leave full. The staff are always so friendly and amazing - nothing is ever too much for them to do. Yes, some of the facilities are older and a refresh could be done but it is nothing that I would go elsewhere for. We love it here and will always come back!

Nice location in center Ubud and the hotel area is nice and welcoming.
too much noise outside with the bar and restaurant until very late at night. especially on the building next to the reception and upstair room are really too much noisy, difficult to sleep at night.
