Building site close to property, obviously that will finish at some point so only a temporary problem

L'hôtel est joli, propre et raffiné. Le fait qu'il ne soit pas très grand crée une ambiance intime et chaleureuse.
Le personnel est bienveillant et très aimable.
L'accès à la plage est pratique ; 6/7 minutes à pieds.
Les chambres sont dotées d'une terrasse spacieuse et confortable.
- L'hôtel est situé à proximité d'une entreprise de construction en bâtiment et d'une ligne ferroviaire; ce qui peut être bruyant.
- Les chambres ne sont pas très grandes, limitées en rangement et il n'y a pas de séparation entre la salle de bain et le coin nuit.
- Le matériel de sport mériterait un petit peu plus d'entretien.

Beautiful pool area and rooms, nice staff at breakfast and at the bar who go the extra mile to help.
The hotel was not somewhere you could walk to a local shop or any other restaurant, you have to rely on their transfers which are only at set times and to one place I
At the top of cefalu town (you also have to pre book a seat), the last transfer to and from the town was before 7pm and the food/drinks at the hotel. Taxis to/from cefalu were about €20 and when I asked reception if I could be dropped off at the supermarket by the next transfer going to cefalu (on the way) the answer was no. The food in the hotel is great at breakfast, lunch by the pool was ok and for dinner their only option is a fine dining restaurant which isn’t my favourite so I didn’t try it. The gym is a nice touch but outdoors in summer so could barely be used. When I booked I saw there was a beach within a short walk, this beach is very small and is right next to a camp site so was full when I went to have a look and had an unofficial sign at the entrance saying ‘locals only’.

The pool and outside resort area was really nice. The staff were also excellent. Breakfast was really good too.
The room and overall facilities did not justify the cost of over £300+ per night at all. The room was basic. It felt like rather than focussing on ensuring guests had a great experience (given the high cost) the resort focus was on extracting as much money as possible. They also had no control over guests making noise near the pool at 3am. I think all staff had left the site at midnight meaning anything could happen thereafter. I would at lest expect a good nights sleep for £330 per night!
