We enjoyed our month long winter vacation. Our host was very responsive to any questions, and checked in with us periodically through the month. The “beach access” was disappointing - not usable. The condo was close to town with all the amenities for shopping. We will likely stay at this facility again.

This suite was okay, nothing impressive. While the space itself is nice, it's the other issues that were a problem. We both found the bed really uncomfortable and there's no AC in the bedroom. The AC unit is hooked up in the living room and the place has vaulted ceilings, so none of that cool air got to the bedroom. The bedroom window's only cracked a small bit. So the suite was very warm, even though it was only between 21 and 24 outside when we were there and cooled down to 11 at night. As well, the AC unit is right under the TV, and so you have to blast the TV volume while the AC is running, and still can't really hear. The washer/dryer in the suite are also very loud, so was difficult to have a conversation in the living room (or sleep in the bedroom) while they were running. Kitchen had the bare minimum. The building you are in definitely isn't "ocean front"...it's about a 10 minute walk to the ocean. Lastly, the biggest issue we had is property is advertised in Canadian dollars, and shows the price in Canadian dollars when we booked, our receipt was for the same amount, but in AMERICAN dollars! VRBO wont change back to CAD, even though I showed screen shots of the booking, VRBO said because it wasnt a screenshot at the actual time of booking (who does that?!) We have now HUNDREDS MORE apparently because the owner's account is in American! And if that's the "real" price, it's outrageously expensive for what you get! Beware of this property!

The outdoor pool with hot tub is a dream! Parksville Ocean is steps away! Family-style Restaurant next door or BBQ on your deck! Outdoor fireplace in the lobby to cozy up with a blanket. Perfect West Coast getaway in Parksville!

This was a very expensive apartment, my expectations were high. Small but well designed although a little dated. It smelled very strongly of bacon upon arrival which was unpleasant. The bed was comfy but I dropped my phone and went under to get it and so dirty! Yuck .The bathroom was clean and had a great shower. There were not enough towels for our group. Good thing the hotel supplies pool towels .The washer was very mildewed so I didn’t use it. The cleaning fee is quite high so I was surprised that I had to take the garbage and recycling to the basement and start the dishwasher under threat of another $50 charge

Our one bedroom suite with a large balcony was in the Lodge, with the pool right behind the Lodge, very convenient. While most of the development consists of duplexes - several more are under construction closest to the beach access - there was no impact to us. The beach access is a five minute walk though at times (highest tide) the beach itself is not easily accessible. The suite was very well equipped for the two of us, very quiet, clean, and with a good mattress and bedding. The owner was very responsive with an initial ac issue that was quickly resolved. We really enjoyed our stay in this suite, and would come again.

We enjoyed this pleasantly appointed condo with a pretty balcony. We had a couple of little issues but the owner was very responsive and dealt with them immediately. I would definitely stay here again.

Property is absolutely gorgeous and would book there again in a heartbeat. However, we booked through Expedia but then received a confirmation email from VRBO, thought it was a scam first but turns out this was a VRBO suite. Didn’t mind that at all but just wish there would have been communication on the Expedia booking site.

Home away from home. Comfortable and well stocked. Would recommend for anyone. Lots of space and Parksville is a very nice community.
