The host was fantastic , the views are incredible very quiet and peaceful markets only a few minutes away . There is a village picnic patio area, with wood fire grill perfect for a family gathering, all I could think of when looking at it is how cool it would be for my kids bday parties. Beautiful for walks with the pets everywhere you turn there is beauty and an abundance fruit growing through everyone’s yards. It was like a dream. The PEOPLE literally everyone we spoke to was kind and very welcoming my heart was so filled by the Portuguese people this community village and others in the Guarda region. I needed to stay an extra day or 2 and host was able to accommodate. Home has heat and cooling a gorgeous fireplace which also takes the chill and helps to relax while reading or watching movies on rainy days. The place equipped with books and games for the kids and pets. Our family was invited to tour a beautiful organic blueberry plantation, this was one of our favorite stays.
I can’t think of anything. Would absolutely book again
