We had the most wonderful 2 days to start our Costa Rican vacation…. The hosts Frederique and Phillips were charming and so hospitable. This is pampered luxury and they did everything to make our stay so memorable. We di and early morning guided bird watch with Jenny from nearby Siempre Verde - stunning and not to be missed. Philippe gave us a personalized tour of this vanilla farm explains the brilliant way they have introduced this industry to the local community.
I can’t not enthuse anymore - simply go and stay yourselves.
PS. Fun local karaoke down in Mastatal….!
The 3 hour drive from the north was fun and stunning - but the longer and mush easier loop from the south recommended if you prefer a smoother approach.

The view relaxing atmosphere and nature was amazing. Fresh bread warm and perfect. Owner was helpful and pleasant and intentional in giving good experience.
Everyone at hotel was served the same meal and we had no idea what that was until placed in front of you. There aren't options except what they give you.
