The Zen lodge is located atop a picturesque hillside surrounded by towering pines, eucalyptus, and biodiversity only found on this pristine coastline. The home is close to town but secluded. It is conveniently located, offering the perfect opportunity for countless day trips for sightseeing to both the north and south. The house is clean and gorgeous, with beautiful craftsmanship and tasteful decorations. The large kitchen is perfect for family gatherings and is fully equipped with anything you might need. The back porch is a delightful spot for listening to the birds while sipping your morning coffee, grilling some local meats or watching the sunset with a night cap. The hot tub/sauna are ideal after a long day of hiking and exploring. The beds are comfy with plenty of pillow choices. Showers have great pressure, nice towels and linens. The radiant heat flooring is dreamy and there is central heating throughout. Connection provided to watch tv from your devices and the Wi-Fi signal is strong. There is a billiard table, dart board, basketball hoop, gym, and playhouse for the kiddos. The caretaker is quiet, kind and respectful. You hardly know he’s there. The studio rental is on property but far enough away to feel you have your own space. The check in and check out process is a breeze, the instructions are clear and any questions I had were answered right away. I will be back for sure and would definitely recommend this stay to anyone!

Where do I begin. First the pros: -I love how the location is in the middle of no where. So we don’t have to worry about neighbors or anything like that. -the hot tub and sauna was wonderful. While the gym is smaller, my guy friends enjoyed that. (Also the upstairs of the gym was beautiful.) -the home was overall nice and advertised correctly. I feel like the home itself was well put together. We wished we got to stay another day. -We also got a partial refund of 200 dollars. Which I’m grateful for even though it mentioned no refunds at all. The context for that will be in the cons. Now the elephant in the room: the cons. Where do I even begin Most importantly: we arrived a little late to our check in due to the flooding conditions. So after being tired and soggy from the rain once we arrived, we desperately needed some good news. It wasn’t. We received the wrong code to the door to enter the home. We were stranded outside of the home 2-3 hours. We tried everything. To contacting the trip manager, the host, and through the call line. No dice. It was pouring out. We were planning on sleeping in our cars that night. Until I tried the call the line again after I was on hold for an hour. We finally received the code once we finally reached someone at 8 o clock at night. (However— we told the guy our frustrations about the whole ordeal and he said we’d get a call back. Shocker! We never did from that phone call.) We were devastated we wasted a whole day that we payed for. The next day was a lot easier. However some questionable things happened. For one the tenant was nice the first time we met him. The second time the impression was kinda strange.. For one: while I was talking to a live chat with Vacasa about the code issue, I heard female moaning from the tenant upstairs. Now I get it it’s New Years and if everything went well from this place, I wouldn’t have mentioned it. Because he was a cool dude and it would’ve been a funny inside joke with us. At first I didn’t think it was moaning and I didn’t mention it. I thought it was maybe from the creaking of the washing machine. Until later on my friends mentioned they heard the same thing. I was skeptical until later on on the deck, he greeted us while we were in the hot tub with a woman with him. And it all came together. At some point the lady took a picture of us. (According to one of my friends) and that was uncalled for if that were the case.—Lovely place. But it is unfortunate
