This property, best for two people, is a convenient jumping off point for seeing the sights of Tucson as well as points east and west of Tucson. The futon couch is not really a bed, but the king sized bed is very comfortable. No stove or oven in this unit, but there are many restaurants in the vicinity. We enjoyed our stay!

The place is just fine for the price. Comfortable bed, perfectly good bathroom/shower, etc. The place is a converted garage or workshop space. It is a job well done. Everything seems new. The appliances work great. Thanks for the water filter! Decent supply of dishes, etc…even pots and pans and spatulas etc…though there is no stove. The downside is the pretty darn sketchy part of town and the neighbors above. You really can hear every footstep and cough from upstairs. Some suggestions…isn’t a mattress pad really pretty standard, a hair dryer would be nice, some sort of slip prevention mat for the shower would be great! My biggest problem was that even when all lights are off and the curtains drawn…there is still a lot of light…the appliances, the microwave and especially the split heat/AC unit with its bright blue numbers…keep the place in an eerie blue light all night. I would have slapped some duct tape over that if I could have reached it…the set temp shows on the remote so it is probably not necessary that that glows in your face all night. Central location was good.

The location and property are great EXCEPT for...the overwhelming smell of plumbing gases. Let me explain. When I first walked in, I was overwhelmed with the sell of cleaning agents. I thought "Well, at least the place is clean!" Then I noticed something odd... all the drains were closed. Sinks, shower etc. I thought that was odd, until the next day when I returned to the room and it smelled like a sewer! Now I understood the overwhelming smell of cleaning agents! I'm not sure what they have going on but I couldn't handle it so I left a day early. Maybe they will have it fixed by the time someone else checks in but they obviously knew it was a problem and never bothered to tell me. That's the reason for the low rating. Other than that, great place, great location!

The space was just perfect for us. Comfortable bed, good wifi, parking right at the door, enclosed area for our dog to do his business, good AC, nice shower, full size fridge, high ceilings with ceiling fans. The space was clean and felt safe. The surrounding area is a little sketchy with lots of homeless but that’s really most of Tucson, sadly. The house sits back off the busy road a little which gave it a bit of a buffer. It also made it a bit difficult to find but the quietness was worth it. We would stay here again.

This property was just like described. You can tell that it was remodeled and everything was well done! I would definitely stay in the property again. I was in town for a full week and it was way more space than I needed but I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of space. Parking and noise was never an issue and I wish I could have stayed longer, not on business. Well Done!

We stayed for one week. Pros: This rental is clean, well appointed, open concept, and has a nice shower that has been tiled. The private patio is very nice to enjoy breakfasts before heading out for the day. It was nice to have a toaster oven and microwave and fridge. There is also a hotplate available. Plates, bowls, glassware, mugs, cutlery, and pot & pans are available. The king bed was comfortable with nice bedding. There were enough good towels. Bus stops are very close if you wish to use transit. Cons: There is a rental upstairs and you can hear people walking across the floor as well as their dog running/playing and various other noises. Nights were not always quiet and sometimes getting to sleep was a bit of a challenge because of the renters as well as the very busy road. The bathroom soap container was almost empty but there was enough dish soap. We did not bring shampoo as the ad said there would be shampoo, but there wasn't any so we purchased a travel size. I should not have assumed that there would be a blow dryer but if this is added to the rental, it would be a nice bonus. We did not realize that the closest grocery shopping at the Walmart at Alvernon and Grant was very sketchy. Fortunately, you can take the #1 bus down Glenn to Swan where there is a very nice mall with a Fry's grocery store. We enjoyed a delicious brunch at First Watch Cafe there as well. Also there is a Trader Joe's and a Starbucks across the road. We did the rest of our grocery shopping here and walked a few times to enjoy the exercise - about 20 minutes. Quite a difference between Grant and Glenn Roads! Tips: To go downtown on the bus, take the #1 west on Glenn and then home on the #1 as well. Monday to Friday the bus runs every half hour; every hour on Saturday & Sunday. The #11 takes you to the airport. Uber is also available for a less frugal budget- it cost us $25 US from the airport to the rental. Tucson has an excellent transit system, including smaller shuttles in some areas as well as a terrific electric tram that goes around the downtown. While we were there, the entire transit system was free. Conclusion: As long as you are okay with the location, this is a good rental. Autumn quickly responds to questions.

Delay in getting check in info. Owner stepped to go above and beyond. Being a senior would be helpful to have printed info booklet onsite
