Beautiful location nested among the pine trees. We all loved the antiques lobby next to the reception. The fish pond in the premise with soothing water stream sound makes it memorable. Easy access to restaurants and grocery store adds convenience. Patio with overlooking water creek is perfect to enjoy the coffee. Overall its a nice and cozy refreshing place.

When I first walked in it wasn't very inviting looking. Could use major updates. The bed was comfortable. The fireplace would have been nice but even though the flu was open this room still had smoke in it. But if you just need a place to sleep I guess it's okay.

The cabins were beautiful and clean, and the service was very friendly. We got the mama bear unit. Great location! Everything is walking distance. Unfortunately, my actual stay within the unit was very uncomfortable. All the furniture (bed, sofas, patio furniture, chairs) were really difficult to sit on for any period of time. My fiancée and I booked two nights to get away and reset, and we left exhausted and sore from no sleep. Furniture is really outdated and the sofas are futons in which you can feel every spring and slats. The bed was like sleeping on concrete. Was looking forward to a hot tub, as shown on hotels.com pics, but I learned upon check in that the photos from all properties are combined and they only have hot tubs for certain private properties (three bears do NOT have hot tubs). Got excited about the jets in the bathtub, but they didn’t work. All in all, would book Silver Pines again, but would look into the private properties they look like they might have more comfortable furniture based on pics.

Wonderful property. Enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. It also had a fully stocked kitchen we used to make Thanksgiving dinner. Very spacious, lots of upgrades, comfortable beds. Pet friendly. Highly recommend! *However, be aware that the price you pay with expedia does not represent true total. You will pay a cleaning fee as well as a pet fee if applicable at Silver Pines Lodge, which was not very transparent.

Excellent location in downtown Idyllwild, easy walking distance to everything. The staff is very nice and helpful. The property is "rustic" and our room needed refreshing. Clean but run down.

Enjoyed my stay and perfectly accessible to everything and near the best restaurant in town, Fero an Italian restaurant, it was just steps away. I brought my dog with me and loved that it was pet friendly and the rooms smelled fresh. Very clean and beautiful landscaping too

There was to be two futon beds and there was not so we had to go and buy an air mattress to sleep the other guest with us. The bedding had a smell to them as if they were not washed.

This is a great spot! The cabin is clean and safe and very comfortable! My only suggestion would be to have some dish towels in the kitchen to dry dishes, but I plan on coming back here time and again.

Pioneer cabin #3 is in severe need of rehab in addition to being dirty. Filthy carpet, windows won't operate, mold in shower, towels smell like mildew, hinges on back door broken. Extra beds are stained futons/couches. I understand it is an old cabin but it could be a nice, clean old cabin. Won't be going back.

If you are looking for an inexpensive and great place to stay in town this is it! Silver pines was so cozy and you could walk to town and around the shop within minutes. Great spot for kids to adventure around the koi pond and plenty of stuff to do.Super pet friendly and just like staying in an Air BNB with a. Full kitchen. We had an amazing stay and we’re sad to leave! We will be staying again!

This is about 3-story cabin, Papa Bear. Only 1 true bedroom! "2nd" is loft. "3rd" is small space that you walk through to get to true bedroom. Each of 3 bathrooms has shower, toilet, sink. Big kitchen. Dining table has 6 chairs; you can bring more from decks. True bedroom downstairs has deck, bathroom, good space to hang clothes, king bed, single bed. Loft has 1 bed for skinny couple, 2 single beds that I'd be afraid to use (low ceiling above head), tight bathroom, nothing to hang clothes on except railing. 3rd sleeping area downstairs has 1 bed that may fit 2 extremely skinny people, futon for 2 people, 2 seats, a bit of railing to hang clothes (I'd recommend clothes rack instead of seats), NO bathroom. Best bathroom is on main level with kitchen & living. Living room has 3 futons (each for 2 people), small closet to hang clothes +hooks by entrance, 2 decks, board games. One of its walls is almost entirely glass and faces south, so I guess gets very hot in summer. Main deck is on that side, so it's too sunny most of the time but beautiful. Lower deck is shady due to deck above it, but you have to go downstairs, through bedroom(s). 3rd deck is at entrance, doesn't have furniture but next to it there is a covered space with shared picnic tables +grill. Very quiet spot even on Memorial Day weekend with all lodgings booked! Tacked in at end of downtown, walk to everything. I think loft has AC as it gets hot. No shampoo or lotion (same in other unit at this lodge), lots of soap.

This place needs a serious overhaul. The cabin was filthy. The carpet was disgusting and ripped in several places. The futons in the living room looked like something from the 1970’s and they look like they have never been cleaned. The drapes were ripped and stained. There was an ashtray full of cigarette butts on the deck. The lighting was poor. Very dimly lit. We booked through hotels.com and it said all expenses paid in full. When we checked in they charged us an additional $27 fee for kitchen cleaning. After checking out I felt like I needed a shower because the place was so filthy. It’s a shame that they charge so much for such a dump. Save yourself and book elsewhere.

It smelled kinda like mold, but it was in a nice location. Also, the room was listed as having a kitchenette, but really didn’t. Additionally, they don’t collect trash daily and the neighbors were easy to hear. I don’t think they were being overly loud, but the Lodge could benefit from some insolation.

The property is old, built in 1923 but is VERY clean. No weird "old" odors or anything like that. Staff was great, great setting. We will be back!
