Tahquitz Pines Retreat

The property was amazing. The cabins were magical and clean. There was a game room for kids and a business center. I had to do work the day we arrived and it was great to have that space. The property is quick driving distance to the town and several hikes. Great location and the accommodations had a front and back porch- so relaxing. What a treat to stay here :) We came with a toddler and 14 year old and both had fun!

They did an incredible job keeping the resort grounds clean, and that the rooms were so well-kept with the fact that it's a very dog-friendly place. I also loved that it's less than 10 minutes from town. Gorgeous view of the granite peak too. Keep in mind that it's an open area and summers are definitely inviting to some bugs and other critters, but it shouldn't let take anything away from the entire experience. I enjoyed the silence a lot.

Beautiful location, clean rooms with air conditioning, great restaurant on site, lovely pool that we could have our dog inside the gates, leashed!

Only that the onsite restaurant didn’t offer breakfast!

It was a pretty property and it was a great location!

Our blinds in our room did not close and the room was a bit dirty in my opinion. There was a pair of eyelashes glued to the floor and some bad water damage behind the toilet amongst other things such as scratch marks on the front door. I confronted the front desk twice about the blinds not working. We were concerned about privacy. We could not get them to close and it made us uncomfortable. The solution was to close each blind by hand? Doesn’t really seem like a reasonable solution but that’s all we were offered so that’s what we did. We tried out the restaurant and had a pretty bad experience there. We were sat and then ignored for 30 minutes. We were placing bets on how long it would take to get asked if we wanted a drink but we were NEVER asked. We had to go and find someone and ask if we could be served. Did not get to use the coupons they gave us for the restaurant. ):
