Location is great
Bad smell coming from the bathroom , sink was blocking on the first day. I reported , sink has been solved the next day but smell stayed the same , it wasn’t pleasant

We checked in with Ilaria, who was very attentive and helpful. The apartment is very well located in the city center of Bologna. It is in an old building, as are most buildings in the city, but the apartment has been partially renovated for rental purposes.
We spent six days in the apartment. The size was very good, and the beds were quite comfortable.
It was extremely hot in Bologna, and I realized on the first day that the air conditioning in the main bedroom was not working properly and was not cooling the room. I contacted Ilaria, who provided me with the contact details for the person responsible for handling complaints.
The air conditioning in the other room, which has the kitchenette, was working but was extremely noisy. I immediately contacted the landlord’s office, but received no reply. I sent three more messages over the following days. One of them was answered, informing me that they would contact Paolo, whom I assume is the landlord. After that, however, no action was taken.
It was very difficult to sleep with temperatures reaching 30°C also at night. There was a fan in the apartment, but this does not solve the problem. I booked an apartment that explicitly included air conditioning in its description, so I expected it to be fully functional. This was unacceptable.
Another issue that future tenants should be aware of is that, although the apartment is very well located on Via degli Artieri, the alley is used as a collection point for the rubbish from restaurants throughout the Quadrilatero area. As a result, there is a very unpleasant smell, and it is quite noisy, as restaurants leave their rubbish there until late at night and from the early hours of the morning.
